Abstract

Theautomotiveindustryincreasesalongwiththeincreaseintireproductionwhichresultsinan increaseintirerubberwastethatcannotbeattributedtonaturalfactors.Intuitivewaystosolvethisproblem, innovativewaysareneededtoreducetirerubberwastewhichisincreasingly increasing. Theuseoftire rubberasasubstitute-increasing materialforasphaltisoneoftheintuitivewaystoreduceunusedtire rubberwaste. Itishopedthatasphaltmixedwith rubbertirepieces canactasasubstitute forsimilar materialsandthestabilityoftheasphaltwillincrease.Usedtire rubberwasteisveryeasy tofind, butthis materialisdifficulttofindnaturally. This aims toinvestigatetheimpact of replacingconventionalcoarse aggregatewithusedtirepowderonthestability anddensity oftheAC-WC asphaltmixture.Wastetire powder, which isarecycledproductfrom usedtires, isusedasanadditive inasphaltmixtures toreduce theuseof naturalaggregatesandsupportsustainablerecyclingpracticesintheroadconstructionindustry.
