Abstract

Sari Penelitian dilakukan di dalam wilayah Kecamatan Badau, Kabupaten Belitung, Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui daerah sebaran dan pengayaan timah dan unsur tanah jarang pada endapan plaser. Metode yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini antara lain pemetaan geologi, penyontohan batuan, dan penyontohan endapan plaser. Kandungan mineral pada conto endapan plaser diidentifikasi menggunakan metoda Grain Counting Analysis (GCA). Analisis geokimia conto dilakukan dengan menggunakan metoda X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) untuk menentukan kandungan unsur Sn, Ce, La, dan Y. Untuk mendapatkan nilai anomali kandungan unsur dilakukan analisis univariat. Hasil analisis univariat kemudian dihubungkan dengan kondisi geologi daerah penelitian sehingga dapat ditentukan daerah pengayaan timah dan unsur tanah jarang dominan di bagian tengah daerah penelitian. Kandungan unsur Sn memiliki nilai kandungan dengan rentang yang sangat jauh 9,67 ppm – 82652 ppm, unsur Ce memiliki nilai kandungan dengan rentang 113,33 ppm – 3570 ppm, unsur La memiliki nilai kandungan dengan rentang 72,67 ppm – 1404,33 ppm, dan unsur Y memiliki nilai kandungan dengan rentang 6 ppm – 784,67 ppm. Abstract The research was conducted in the area of ​​Badau District, Belitung Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands, and the aim of the research is to understand the distribution area and enrichment of tin and rare earth elements in placer deposits. The methods used in this research include geological mapping, rock sampling, and placer sediment sampling. Mineral content in placer sediment samples was identified using the Grain Counting Analysis (GCA) method. Geochemical analysis of the samples was carried out using the X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) method to determine the elemental content of Sn, Ce, La, and Y. Univariate analysis was performed to obtain the anomalous value of the elemental content. The results of the univariate analysis are then linked to the geological conditions of the study area so that the dominant tin and rare earth enrichment areas, in the middle of the study area, can be determined. The Sn has values with a very wide range of 9.67 ppm - 82652 ppm, the Ce values ranging from 113.33 ppm - 3570 ppm, La value ranging from 72.67 ppm - 1404.33 ppm , and Y has values ranging from 6 ppm - 784.67 ppm.

Abstract

This paper is based on research results to obtain an overview of the geology of the Tanjung Enim area and its coal potential. Data processing was performed using Minescape 5.7 software. The research was conducted in an area of ​​52.8 km2. The rock units found can be divided into six rock units, namely the Sandstone Unit, the Claystone Unit including the seven main coal seams in it (coal seams A1, A2, B, B1, B2, C, D), Sandstone Unit - Siltstone including four hanging coal seams. . Sandstone Unit - Tuff, Andesite Intrusion Unit, and Alluvial Deposits Unit. The Claystone Unit and Sandstone Unit - Batulanau are equivalent to the Muaraenim Formation, which is a coal-bearing formation in the study area. The results of the calculation of coal resources are based on surface mapping data and supported by 27 drill well data belonging to PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk., It was found that the hanging coal seam resource content was 25,570,170 tons and the main coal seam was 1,275,631,640 tons.The coal quality rating in the hanging coal seam is Subbituminous B Coal, A1 coal seam is Subbituminous A Coal while the A2, B, B1, B2, and C coal seam ratings are High volatile C Bitumious.

Abstract

Abstract Enrichment studies for primary and secondary tin and rare earth elements were carried out in the Simpang Pesak area, East Belitung Regency which is located at the coordinates of UTM 823865 - 827977 mE and 9653722 - 9658725 mS. This study was conducted to determine potential areas for primary and secondary tin content and rare earths in plaser deposits and granite source rock. The analysis was carried out on primary data taken directly in the field, in the form of rock samples and plaser sediment samples. Plaser sample analysis was carried out on three grain size fractions, namely fraction # 48 (297-354 μm), fraction # 100 (149 μm) and fraction -100 (<149 μm). Geochemical analysis using X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) Portable on rock samples and plaser sediment concentrates to be carried out the levels of lead and rare earth elements. Univariate statistical analysis was performed to determine the limit value of elemental anomalies. Grain Counting Analysis (GCA) was also carried out on samples of plaser sediment to see the minerals contained in these deposits. Rare earth elements found in the study area include yttrium, cerium, and lanthanum. High levels of lead are in the southern part and some in the middle of the study area. High grade rare earth elements are well known in the central part of the study area. Tin and rare earth anomalies are enriched in the morphology of river steps with ancient alluvial plaser types. The factors that influence the anomaly area are ordering process, source rock, and morphology. Further exploration started from the west to the southeast towards the north towards the granite hills in the study area.

Abstract

Abstrak Pulau Bangka merupakan salah satu daerah dengan potensi timah dan mineral ikutan timah yang besar. Potensi timah danmineral ikutan timah dijumpai sebagai endapan primer dan endapan plaser. Endapan plaser di pulau Bangka dikelompokkan sebagai endapan undak sungai Purba dan Formasi Ranggam. Formasi Ranggam merupakan endapan sedimen sungai yang berumur Tersier. Formasi Ranggam tersusun atas 9 litofasies, yaitu Fasies Konglomerat Pasiran (SG), Batupasir Halus (FS),Batupasir Konglomeratan (GS), Batulanau Tufan (TSL), Batupasir Silang-siur Planar (S-p), Batupasir Konglomeratan Gradasi Terbalik (SG-i), Batulempung (CL), Batulempung – Batupasir (CLS), Batupasir Tufan (TS). Berdasarkan pada Elemenarsitekturnya Formasi Ranggam diendapkan dalam lingkungan sungai sebagai endapan channel fill, floodplain, natural levee,dan crevasse splay. Kata kunci: Bangka, Formasi Ranggam, Litofasies, Elemen Arsitektur Abstract Bangka Island is one of the areas with a large potential for tin and tin associated minerals. The potential for tin and lead associated minerals is found as primary deposits and plaser deposits. Plaser deposits on the island of Bangka are grouped as deposits of the ancient river steps and the Ranggam Formation. The Ranggam Formation is a Tertiary river sediment deposit. The Ranggam Formation is composed of 9 lithofacies, namely the Facies of the Pasiran Conglomerate (SG), Fine Sandstone (FS), Conglomerate Sandstone (GS), Tufan Silicate Sandstone (TSL), Planar Cross-sectional Sandstone (Sp), Reverse Gradation Conglomerate Sandstone (SG-i ), Claystone (CL), Claystone - Sandstone (CLS), Tuffan Sandstone (TS). Based on its architectural elements, the Ranggam Formation is deposited in a river environment as channel fill, floodplain, natural levee, and crevasse splay deposits. Abstract

Lokasi penelitian berada di daerah Binungan kawasan PT. Berau Coal yang mencakup area ±32 km2, yang secara administratif termasuk dalam wilayah Desa Binungan, Kecamatan Sambaliung, Kabupaten Berau, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Secara fisiografis daerah telitian termasuk dalam Sub-Cekungan Berau dari Cekungan Tarakan. Stratigrafi daerah penelitian dari tua ke muda adalah Satuan Batupasir, Satuan Batupasir-Batulempung, Satuan Batupasir Konglomeratan yang berumur Miosen Tengah sampai Miosen Akhir dan Satuan Endapan Alluvial yang berumur Resen. Struktur geologi yang berkembang didaerah penelitan yaitu sesar turun dan sesar geser kiri yang diinterpretasikan dari korelasi bawah permukaan. Korelasi lapisan batubara dilakukan dari karakteristik fisik masing-masing lapisan batubara berdasarkan data e-log dengan menggunakan gamma ray, long density dan short density. Jumlah lapisan batubara yang berada di daerah Binungan ialah sebanyak 43 lapisan dengan 23 lapisan batubara yang menerus dan 20 lapisan batubara yang tidak menerus. Sumberdaya terukur batubara pada daerah penelitian yaitu sebesar 644.612.826,99 ton dan sumberdaya tertunjuk yaitu 1.592.733.025,26 ton, dengan persyaratan batas minimal ketebalan lapisan batubara yang dihitung menurut Standar Nasional Indonesia ialah 0,40 meter. Abstract

Diagenesis pada asosiasi fasies channel-fill menunjukkan adanya proses kompaksi, sementasi, rekristalisasi, dan pelarutan. Proses kompaksi pada channel-1 dan channel- 2 ditandai dengan adanya kontak antarbutir berupa kontak point, long, dan suture. Derajat kompaksi semakin meningkat pada sampel yang diambil pada dasar channel. Pada channel- 1 terjadi rekristalisasi gelas menjadi mineral lempung dan rekristalisasi kuarsa, sedangkan pada channel- 2 hanya rekristalisasi gelas menjadi mineral lempung. Pelarutan yang terjadi pada channel- 1 berupa pelarutan mineral piroksen, plagioklas dan cangkang foraminifera, dan pada channel- 2 hanya pelarutan mineral piroksen. Adanya penambahan mineral lempung selama diagenesis berlangsung mengurangi nilai porositas, karena mineral lempung dapat mengisi ruang antar butiran pembentuk batuan, sehingga batupasir Formasi Halang memiliki potensi rendah sebagai reservoir hidrokarbon.
