Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah self-esteem berpengaruh terhadap prestasi akademik matematika mahasiswa atau tidak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Universitas Madako Tolitoli yang memprogramkan mata kuliah Matematika. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil secara acak. Adapun ukuran sampel penelitian berjumlah 76 mahasiswa yang memprogramkan mata kuliah matematika. Teknik Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Non Tes berupa Pemberian angket dan studi dokumentasi.   Angket digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kondisi self-esteem mahasiswa sedangkan Studi Dokumentasi dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan data prestasi akademik matematika mahasiswa.Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi sederhana. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-esteem berpengaruh terhadap prestasi akademik matematika mahasiswa. Hasil Penelitian ini berimplikasi bahwa self-esteem tidak hanya berpengaruh pada prestasi akademik matematika siswa di sekolah saja, namun juga berpengaruh terhadap prestasi akademik matematika mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi.

Abstract

This study is aimed to improve students’ self-esteem toward mathematics learning in MTs Ummul Quro through Students Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) cooperative learning. This was a classroom action research study and the research subjects were thirty one students of Grade IX B. The data as indicators of the success of class actions were collected using a self-esteem questionnaire for mathematics learning, mathematics achievement tests, and observation sheets for the implementation of STAD cooperative learning. In the implementation, the results showed that in Cycle I there were still students who had low self-esteem, 67.74% of students attained KKM (short for kriteria ketuntasan minimal or ‘the criterion for minimum mastery’), and the percentage of the implementation of STAD cooperative learning was 85.33%. In Cycle II, no students had low self-esteem, 77.42% of students attained KKM, and the percentage of the implementation of STAD cooperative learning was 96.67%. In general, the results of the study showed that STAD cooperative learning could improve the self-esteem of Grade IX B of MTs through two cycles

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the effectiveness of the cooperative learning of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type using the problem solving approach in terms of the mathematics learning achievement, critical thinking skills, and self-esteem of vocational high school (VHS) students. This was a quasi-experimental study using the pretest posttest nonequivalent comparison group design. The research population comprised all Grade X students of SMK Negeri 1 Tolitoli. The sample was selected by means of the purposive sampling technique. The selected sample consisted of Grade X of Health Nurse 1 as the first experimental class and Grade X of Nurse Health 2 as the second experimental class. To test the effectiveness of the cooperative learning of the TAI type using the problem solving approach, the data were analyzed using one sample t-test. Then, to compare the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model of the TAI type using the problem solving approach and that of the learning that used only the cooperative learning model of the TAI type, the data were analyzed using the MANOVA test. The results of the study showed that the application of the cooperative learning model of the TAI type using the problem solving approach was effective to be applied in learning. In addition, the results showed that the cooperative learning model of the TAI type using the problem solving approach was significantly more effective than the learning that used only the cooperative learning model of the TAI type in terms of the mathematics learning achievement, critical thinking skills, and self-esteem of VHS students.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) dengan pendekatan pemecahan masalah ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self-esteem siswa SMK. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi-experiment dengan desain pretest posttest nonequivalent comparison group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Tolitoli. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian yang terpilih adalah siswa kelas X Perawat Kesehatan 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen pertama dan siswa kelas X Perawat Kesehatan 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen kedua. Untuk menguji keefektifan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dengan pendekatan pemecahan masalah, data dianalisis menggunakan one sample t-test. Selanjutnya untuk membandingkan keefektifan antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dengan pendekatan pemecahan masalah dan pembelajaran yang hanya menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI, digunakan uji MANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dengan pendekatan pemecahan masalah efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dengan pendekatan pemecahan masalah secara signifikan lebih efektif jika dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran yang hanya menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI, ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self-esteem siswa SMK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perbandingan keefektifan antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) dan tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi-experiment dengan desain pretest-posttest nonequivalent comparison group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII SMK Negeri 1 Tolitoli. Pemilihan kelompok sampel dilakukan secara acak. Dalam hal ini, Kelas yang terpilih adalah Kelas XII Farmasi 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen pertama yaitu kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD, sedangkan kelas XII Farmasi 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen kedua yaitu kelas yang menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TAI. Untuk menganalisis mana yang lebih efektif antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan tipe TAI, data dianalisis menggunakan uji t dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI lebih efektif dari tipe STAD ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar matematika Siswa di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Atas yang ada di Kabupaten Tolitoli. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa di sekolah tersebut, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitan ini adalah 40 siswa kelas X, 45 siswa kelas XI, dan 28 siswa kelas XII. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah stratified random sampling. Data motivasi belajar dikumpulkan melalui angket motivasi belajar sedangkan data prestasi belajar diambil dari data prestasi belajar matematika yang ada di sekolah tersebut. Data  kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa.Kata Kunci: hubungan, motivasi, prestasi, belajar, matematika

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe (1) the process of mathematics learning using Whatsapp and Google classroom and (2) the constraints experienced by teachers and students regarding the use of these two applications in Mathematics learning. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique used is interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects were a mathematics teacher and two students. The results showed that (1) Mathematics learning process was running smoothly where Whatsapp was used for core learning activities and Google classroom was used to access material and practice questions; (2) The obstacles faced by teachers and students are more directed at the less stable internet network.  In general, the use of Whatsapp and Google classroom in learning Mathematics runs quite well. Keywords: Learning; Mathematics; Application; Covid-19

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: This study aims to examine training innovations in Indonesia from 2017 to 2022. Background Problems: This literary study of Indonesian training innovations is pivotal because it is essentially related to human resource development, particularly in Indonesia. Moreover, The academic studies in this field are insufficient to give knowledge, so this research was conducted to provide a more general description of Indonesian training innovations. The discussions of training innovations in this article are circulated 1) How the training innovations have been carried out in Indonesia, 2) What the advantages of training innovations are, and 3) How to research approach was carried out in the training innovations conducted in Indonesia. Novelty: Systematically examines in-depth training innovations in Indonesia and provides an overview of the development of training innovations in Indonesia. Research Methods: This research used a systematic literature review. Finding/Results: The result shows that 1) The training innovations in Indonesia varied in two terms, application or software and learning process, 2) The innovations had a positive effect on the participants, and 3) in its development, the studies on training innovations were carried out using some methods which are quantitative, qualitative, mixed, and research and development methods. Conclusion: This literature study provides a comprehensive overview of training innovation in Indonesia and becomes an additional description and reference for further research and possibilities for studies on training innovation worldwide.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe how blended learning is implemented in training activities; and (2) how the impact of the implementation of blended learning. This research uses the systematic literature review method which is focused on several stages, namely planning, reviewing, and documenting. The data used is secondary data in the form of articles related to the implementation of blended learning in training activities published in national journals in the period from 2019 to 2022 in the google scholar and neliti databases. Data is analyzed through several stages, including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The findings show that (1) in the implementation of blended learning, several learning platforms are used to support the implementation of learning in training activities such as zoom, Webex, and google meetings for face-to-face virtually, then also supported by the use of learning management systems (LMS) both moodle-based LMS, Edmodo, google classroom, Schoology and the use of several online media such as youtube, Kahoot and (2) the implementation of blended learning has an impact that positive such as increasing the understanding of trainees both in terms of knowledge and skills, then in terms of affective, trainees become more motivated to learn, interest in learning is increasing and the learning independence of trainees is increasing.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the innovations that have been applied in learning in training activities and describe the impact of the application of learning innovations on training activities. The method used in this study is a Systematic Literature Review. Data collection is carried out by documenting and reviewing articles either in national journals or proceedings of national seminars related to learning innovations applied to training and articles related to the impact of learning innovations in the period 2012 to 2021. The data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach by going through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the learning innovations applied to training are in the form of the application of e-learning, open design training models, interactive training methods, the use of learning media with the help of canva, the creation of video-based learning media, innovations in the training curriculum, and the implementation of blended learning in training activities by utilizing the use of the application and web-based information technology such as zoom, moodle-based learning management system (LMS) and google meetings. Then, information was also obtained that the impact of the application of learning innovations included the improvement of human resource professionals, increasing the performance of human resources, and the formation of active and creative human resources at work.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan inovasi pembelajaran pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah systematic literature review dengan tahapannya meliputi antara lain Tahap Identifikasi, Tahap penyaringan, Tahap Kelayakan; Tahap Inklusi. Hasil temuan dari analisis sistematis dan komprehensif yang dilakukan, ditemukan beberapa hal antara lain: (1) Inovasi pembelajaran memiliki variasi yang cukup banyak atau begitu beragam pada masa pandemi covid19; (2) Aspek penelitian terkait inovasi mencakup tiga hal antara lain aspek implementasi, pengembangan dan keefektifan; (3) Pendekatan penelitian yang dilakukan terkait dinamika inovasi pembelajaran pada masa pandemi covid-19 bervariasi meliputi studi literatur, deskriptif kualitatif, deskriptif kuantitatif, kuasi eksperimen, Penelitian pengembangan dan penelitian tindakan kelas; dan (4) Inovasi pembelajaran pada memberikan beragam manfaat pada dunia pendidikan. Secara keseluruhan, kontribusi utama artikel ini adalah penelitian inovasi pembelajaran di masa pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia penting dan menjanjikan. Lebih lanjut, studi literatur ini memberikan warna baru terkait bagaimana tren dari inovasi pembelajaran itu sendiri, dan diharapkan menjadi pendorong untuk dilakukan kajian lebih lanjut tentang inovasi pembelajaran dalam cakupan yang lebih luas, mengingat artikel ini hanya mengkaji dalam cakupan inovasi pembelajaran di Indonesia saja.
