Abstract

The issue of disciplinary practices among students in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) is an important topic that needs to be examined. The phenomenon of student behavior that shows a lack of discipline or is far from the values of discipline has affected the teaching and learning process in pesantren. This study aims to describe the implementation of the student handbook as an effort to improve student discipline. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The focus of this research is to understand how the student handbook is implemented and its effectiveness in improving student discipline. The implementation model used is the MUNASIR model, which includes Modelling, Universal, Natural, Action, Socialization, Internalization, Reward, and Punishment. The results of the study show that the implementation of the student handbook with the MUNASIR model is effective in improving student discipline in pesantren. Through this approach, students become more aware of the importance of discipline and show improved disciplined behavior in their daily lives at the pesantren. This study contributes to the development of more systematic and structured strategies for improving student discipline in Islamic boarding schools

Abstract

Baitul Mall Wa Tamwil (BMT) is a micro-level financial institution that operates as an intermediary for Muslim communities in particular and society in general for business sustainability and welfare. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that cause problematic financing at BMT in Tasikmalaya City using the Maqodid Syariah Index (MSI) method. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive concept where researchers go to the field by making observations, interviews involving seven BMT leaders in Tasikmalaya City. The approach method used is the Maqosid Syariah Index (MSI) which measures in terms of Tahzib Al Fardi, Iqamah Al Adalah, Jalb Al Maslahah. The results of this study indicate that BMT has difficulty in meeting its liquidity. There are two factors that cause problematic financing, namely internal factors including negligence of the financing examiner, the existence of a fraud attitude of employees, misappropriation of funds by the management, not using collateral, weaknesses in inspection and others. Meanwhile, external factors are customer defaults, lack of guidance and customer assistance, unwillingness to pay, bad business, fictitious domicile, the covid-19 epidemic which causes congestion in business. Even so, the BMT still considers the need for maqosid Sharia in running its business.

Abstract

This issue was raised based on the values of the nation's character which is the pillar of education and the demands of the National Education System Law Number 20 of 2003 article 3 that to develop the potential of students to become complete Indonesian people, namely having faith and devotion to God Almighty, having knowledge and skills, noble ethics, physically and spiritually healthy, having a steady personality, Smart, creative, independent and have a sense of responsibility. One of the roles in character education is the moral creed teacher, because this is related to the moral aspects of students. The purpose of this study is to determine the character of students through moral creed education and the implementation of moral creed education in MI Nagrog. The method used in research is qualitative method. The subjects of this study include principals, teachers and high-class students, namely grades 4, 5 and 6. The data sources used in this study were interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. This study concluded that the character of students in MI Nagrog was good enough because students had performed congregational dhuhr prayers, dzuha prayers, tadarus, threw garbage in its place, gave praise to friends who had participated in competitions, carried out daily picket tasks, Get used to being present on time, and get used to speaking in polite language, as a form of religious character, responsibility, discipline, independence, honesty, respect for achievements, care for the environment, and courtesy.

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai untuk mengetahui secara lebih mendalam dasar pemikiran al-Faruqi tentang pandangan filosofisnya tentang manusia, ilmu pengetahuan dan kebenaran, sebagai acuan menelaah pemikirannya tentang pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan filosofis dan historis. Pendekatan filosofis dipergunakan atas dasar bahwa pemikiran- pemikiran al-Faruqi berada dalam lingkup konsep pendidikan Islam dalam arti pundasional. Oleh sebab itu, menjadi suatu yang relevan jika pemikirannya didekati dari sudut pandang filosofis, yakni mempertanyakan hakekat yang mendasari konsep-konsepnya tentang pendidikan Islam. Karena penelitian ini mengkaji pemikiran tokoh, maka pendekatan historis dimaksudkan untuk mengkaji, mengungkap biografi al-Faruqi, karya-karyanya, serta perkembangan corak pemikirannya dari kacamata kesejarahan: yakni dilihat dari kondisi sosial politik dan lainnya pada masa itu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah “library research”, maka datanya diperoleh dari bahan-bahan pustaka, baik yang berupa sumber primer maupun sekunder. Konsep pendidikan al-Faruqi dibangun di atas landasan filosofis yang kuat dan merupakan gagasan dasarnya. Gagasan-gagasannya itu bertolak dari konsepsinya tentang tauhid yang berpengaruh terhadap hakekat manusia, ilmu pengetahuan dan kebenaran. Pada hakekatnya manusia adalah makhluk paling mulia, khalifah di bumi, pemegang amanat ilahi. Untuk mendukung tugas manusia, Allah memberikan manusia potensi berupa potensi jasmani dan potensi ruhani yang meliputi fitrah, akal dan ruh. Potensi manusia ini dipergunakan untuk mencari ilmu pengetahuan dengan bertitik tolak pada kesatuan pengetahuan dan kebenaran yang bersumber pada Tuhan. ilmu pengetahuan, Menurut al-Faruqi, dikonstruk untuk mengakui dan mengenal Tuhan, bukan untuk kebutuhan praksis semata. Dalam kerangka ini, al-Faruqi menolak adanya dikotomi dalam ilmu pengetahuan. Tujuan mencari ilmu pengetahuan adalah untuk mencari kebenaran tunggal, dan oleh karena itu harus didasarkan pada keyakinan. Kritiknya terhadap krisis ilmu pengetahuan modern, dengan mengusulkan islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan, merupakan konsekuensi logis dari gagasan-gagasan sebelumnya. Gagasan-gagasan dasar al-Faruqi tentang hakekat manusia, ilmu pengetahuan dan kebenaran sedikit banyak berpengaruh juga terhadap konsepnya tentang pengertian pendidikan Islam, tujuan pendidikan Islam, anak didik, dan kurikulum pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Learning Aqidah Akhlak is a subject that has an important role in developing students' moral, ethical and spiritual values. However, the current challenge for teachers is to help students understand and apply moral, ethical and spiritual values ​​in everyday life. These problems include a lack of student involvement, teachers' difficulties in motivating students, as well as limitations in developing a deep understanding and application of the values ​​learned. The negative impact of this lack of moral learning is bullying. Using interesting and fun learning methods will greatly influence the learning atmosphere in the class. To overcome this, teachers need a strategy in the learning process, namely by implementing an appropriate learning method or model continuity of a good learning process. One of them is by using the discovery learning learning model. The purpose of this research is to determine: (1) Bullying behavior of fifth grade students before using the Discovery Learning learning model in teaching Aqidah Akhlak. (2) Implementation of the discovery learning learning model in the Moral Aqidah subject in an effort to prevent bullying in class V, MI Padamulya, Padamulya Village, Cihaurbeuti District, Tasikmalaya Regency (3) Bullying behavior of class V students after using the Discovery Learning learning model in learning the Aqidah Akhlak. This research is a type of qualitative research. The research subjects were moral aqidah subject teachers and class V students at MI Padamulya. The learning model used is the discovery learning model in the subject of moral beliefs. The instruments used for data collection were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research instrument will later be analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of this research show: (1) Students' attitudes before implementing the Discovery Learning learning model in Aqidah Akhlak learning still do not pay enough attention to the comfort of fellow students when learning, for example with attitudes that do not respect each other, corner each other, or even make fun of friends who have not dared to come forward. front of class. (2) implementation is divided into 3 stages, preliminary stage; the teacher opens the lesson with greetings, conveying the learning objectives, and apperception, the content stage; carried out by providing stimulus, problem identification, data collection, data processing, verification and generalization, closing stage; The teacher closes the lesson by appreciating the students' performance followed by providing closing motivation. (3) After implementing the Discovery Learning Learning Model in teaching Aakidah Akhlak to class V students with the results of learning evaluation using 3 assessments; attitude assessment, knowledge assessment, and research skills. Children can respect fellow friends or teachers more when studying, provide support or trust to friends well, and treat everyone well regardless of anything. Therefore, the accompanying teachers for subjects, especially moral beliefs, work together to provide guidance and teaching, especially in the field of beliefs and morals, in order to be able to prevent and minimize the occurrence of bullying behavior in the school environment, especially in MI Padamulya, Padamulya Village, Padamulya District, Ciamis Regency.
