Abstract

Usaha pertanian yang dijalani kadang mengalami kendala karena pupuk yang digunakan terbilang langka dan mahal di Desa Sumber Mulya sehingga perlu penyuluhan dan pelatihan tentang pemanfaatan limbah ternak sapi terutama feses sapi untuk dijadikan pupuk organik padat yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk untuk tanaman perkebunan para petani di Desa Sumber Mulya. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan proses identifikasi area sasaran yakni Desa Sumber Mulya kemudian dilanjutkan dengan observasi dan wawancara langsung dengan warga. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik untuk mewujudkan pertanian ramah lingkungan di Desa Sumber Mulya didasarkan pada respons peserta sebagai pelaku pertanian sangat tertarik terhadap materi pelatihan sesuai dengan sasaran dan metode pelatihan. Keberadaan kelompok tani yang menggunakan pupuk organik yang mampu memberikan stimulus kepada masyakat setempat untuk melakukan pembuatan pupuk organik dari limbah ternak. Adanya kelompok tersebut menambah tingkat pendapatan masyarakat meskipun bukan menjadi pekerjaan tetap melainkan pekerjaan sampingan tetapi memiliki asas manfaat yang sangat besar yaitu peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat yang ada di Desa Sumber Mulya Kecamatan Bulik. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat dimulai dari survei lokasi, penyuluhan dan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik dari bahan dasar feses sapi. Peserta pelatihan juga memiliki antusiasme yang tinggi untuk memperoleh pengetahuan tentang teknologi pengolahan feses sapi menjadi pupuk organik yang ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the role of profit sharing partnerships in value chain management, analyze the role of profit sharing partnerships in improving the performance of the beef cattle value chain, analyze the cost structure in beef cattle profit sharing partnerships and calculate and analyze the market margin created in the beef cattle value chain with a profit sharing system. The research was conducted from June 2023 to December 2023. This research is a survey research that explores data on respondents selected using purposive random sampling from beef cattle breeders with a profit sharing system in Lamandau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. The sub-district with the largest population of beef cattle was selected, and respondents were taken proportionally from each sub-district. Data was analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The research results show that the role of profit sharing is very important in reducing capital and market creation, the performance of the value chain created provides value in accordance with the role of each supply chain involved. A cost structure that can be efficient because of the short market chain created, each chain can access infrastructure well and profitably. Breeders obtain a fairly high farmershare of 55% and adequate market margins for each actor involved.

Abstract

Polutry farming in Central Kalimantan has shown a positive trend in the last 3 years. The increase in chicken farming causes the use of livestock rations to increase. Feeding is the largest contributor to production costs in the chicken farming industry, contributing 70-80% of production costs. The current increase in feed prices means that farmers have to look for new innovations to overcome this problem, where the price of animal feed rations is relatively cheaper and the nutrition obtained by livestock is still achieved. The innovation that can be used is using palm oil waste as a substitute for corn and rice bran. Palm kernel meal (BIS) is a by-product of the palm oil industry where the nutritional content obtained by BIS is very suitable as an alternative animal feed in terms of nutritional content and is easy to obtain at a relatively cheaper price. However, there is no model for formulating animal feed rations. So in this research, a model of animal feed ration formulation was created using the linear programming method to determine the optimal composition for preparing this animal feed ration. The objective function of this model is to minimize the price of animal feed rations. Before the model is used, model verification and validation is carried out which is useful for testing logical suitability and compatibility with the real system. The results of the model that has been created can reduce the cost of producing animal feed rations is 11%, which is the actual condition Rp. 6,800 and the model obtained is Rp. 6,114 where the nutrition obtained is relatively the same as actual conditions.
