Abstract

One way to improve discipline and foster good cadet character is to do it on the basis of evaluation and mapping out what factors support achieving this. Many aspects affect a person's level of achievement and discipline, 3 of which are learning motivation, family factors and the educational environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning motivation, parental motivation and the educational environment in official schools on the academic achievement of Medan Aviation Polytechnic Cadets as well as to describe the social competence of educators and caregivers in building the excellence of cadets at the Medan Aviation Polytechnic. This research is qualitative research, case study design. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive analysis technique which was carried out comparatively. The results of the study prove that the adoption of parenting patterns of one another has a significant effect on creating an atmosphere of achievement and is able to turn the Medan Polytechnic into a cheerful campus without losing moral and ethical values and respecting each other both internally and externally.

Abstract

In the world of aviation, the tool used for communication between aircraft in the air with ATC (Air Traffic Controller) officers on the ground is VHF Air to Ground radio. This radio has a very vital role in the world of aviation therefore this tool must be able to function properly. Many aspects can affect damage to the VHF A/G radio and cause the transmitting power emitted by the radio to not allow pilots and air traffic controllers to communicate. Among others is the damage of spare parts on the VHF A/G radio that occurs at Perum LPPNPI Airnav Palembang Branch. This research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study prove that damage to spare parts on the VHF A/G radio can affect the transmitting power and cause communication between pilots and ATC officers at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II airport.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the model of technology acceptance or extension and adaptation, and the mixed methods approach is applied in this paper to explore the attitudes and concerns of a civil servant in facing the challenges of the industrial revolution. This type of research conducted by researchers is descriptive qualitative. Descriptive qualitative is a type of qualitative research that explores the characteristics of a phenomenon, not explaining the underlying causes or mechanisms. This involves the collection and analysis of data in the form of words, pictures, or other forms of non-numeric information regarding applying a model of technology acceptance or extension and adaptation and a mixed methods approach is applied in this paper to explore the attitudes and concerns of a civil servant in dealing with challenges of the industrial revolution. The research technique that the authors use to collect data in this study through observation or interviews. The results of this study indicate that in general the state civil apparatus should be able to distinguish between interventions that are primarily targeted at the cultural background of each individual and interventions that are primarily targeted at organizations.
