Abstract

Memiliki tubuh proporsional sangat berpengaruh terhadap berat tubuh dan tinggi badan manusia, dalam menentukan tubuh yang proporsional dapat diketahui dengan menggunakan rumus BMI (Body Mass Index) atau index masa tubuh yang bermanfaat untuk dapat menentukan berat badan yang ideal bagi tiap orang yang telah diklasifikasi menurut WHO, apalagi dengan kemajuan zaman yang sangat modern saat ini maka diperlukannya alat yang dapat mempermudah dalam menentukan berat badan yang ideal tanpa harus menghitung secara manual. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui cara alat ukur tinggi badan dan berat badan dapat bekerja dengan baik. Dengan menggunakan komponen utama yaitu arduino uno, sensor load cell sebagai pengukur berat badan, sensor ultrasonik yang berfungsi sebagai pengukur tinggi badan dan DF Player digunakan untuk menghasilkan output suara. Untuk cara penggunaannya, pengguna terlebih dahulu harus berdiri diatas kaca timbangan untuk mengukur berat dan sensor yang diatas kepala akan membaca tinggi badan dan kemudian ketika semua data telah terinput maka selanjutnya arduino uno akan memproses semua data dan kemudian menampilkannya pada layar LCD yang disertai dengan loudspeaker sebagai output suara yang menyatakan ideal atau tidak idealnya si pengguna.

Abstract

Abstract - Augmented Reality is a merger between two worlds, namely the virtual world to the real world, in other words, we can display objects in the virtual world into the real world. Augmented Reality has many opportunities to continue to be developed in any field. The Augmented Reality method also has the advantage of an interactive side because the makers to display certain videos that are directed to the webcam. Making an interactive learning media application using augmented reality technology will be applied to Android-based smartphones and is designed as a learning medium for cadets and prospective cadets of ATKP Medan to the general public. In this application, there are 3D objects in the shape of the plane and its parts created using the 3Dsmax and Blender applications, with Unity as the game engine and Vuforia as the library. The way to use it is by pointing the smartphone camera at the markers that have been provided. Then on the smartphone screen, an object will appear 3D aircraft and the inside. The making of this application will help increase the understanding and participation of the general public as well as the Medan ATKP cadets in learning to recognize the shapes and parts of the aircraft. The results of testing the introduction of an aircraft application can run on a variety of Android mobile devices. The normal distance that can be detected by the camera is 6cm to 4m with a marker size of 20 x 22cm. The slope that can be detected normally between 20 ͦ - 90 ͦ. Based on the percentage of markers that are blocked can run between 0-87%. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the material contained in the aircraft form and part recognition application using Android-based Augmented Reality is suitable for introducing aircraft shapes and parts to field ATKP cadets to the general public. There are still many shortcomings that can be developed, such as increasing 3D plane objects and making better animations, so that applications are more interesting, interactive, and easy to understand.Keywords - Augmented Reality, Android, Unity, Vuforia, 3D, Blender  Abstract - Augmented Reality merupakan penggabungan antara dua dunia, yaitu dunia maya ke dunia nyata, dalam kata lain benda dalam dunia maya dapat kita tampilkan ke dunia nyata. Augmented Reality memiliki banyak peluang untuk terus dikembangkan dalam bidang apapun.  Metode Augmented Reality juga memiliki kelebihan dari sisi interaktif karena pembuat untuk menampilkan video tertentu yang diarahkan ke webcam. Pembuatan aplikasi media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan teknologi augmented reality ini akan diterapkan pada smartphone berbasis Android dan didesain sebagai media pembelajaran bagi taruna maupun calon taruna ATKP Medan hingga masyarakat umum. Di dalam aplikasi ini terdapat objek 3D bentuk pesawat dan bagian-bagiannya yang dibuat dengan menggunakan aplikasi 3Dsmax dan Blender, dengan Unity sebagai game engine dan Vuforia sebagai library. Cara penggunaanya adalah dengan mengarahkan kamera smartphone pada marker atau penanda yang telah tersedia. Kemudian dilayar smartphone akan muncul objek 3D Pesawat serta bagian sisi dalamnya. Pembuatan aplikasi ini akan membantu meningkatkan pemahaman dan partisipasi masyarakat umum maupun taruna ATKP Medan dalam belajar mengenal bentuk dan bagian dalam pesawat. Hasil dari pengujian  aplikasi Pengenalan pesawat terbang dapat berjalan pada berbagai perangkat mobile Android. Jarak normal yang dapat terdeteksi oleh kamera adalah 6cm sampai 4m dengan ukuran marker 20 x 22cm. Kemiringan yang dapat terdeteksi dengan normal antara 20 ͦ - 90 ͦ. Berdasarkan prosentase marker yang terhalang dapat berjalan antara 0-87%. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner materi yang terdapat pada aplikasi pengenalan bentuk dan bagian pesawat menggunakan Augmented Reality berbasis android ini cocok untuk mengenalkan bentuk dan bagian pesawat kepada taruna ATKP medan hingga masyarakat umum. Masih banyak kekurangan  yang dapat dikembangkan, misalnya memperbanyak objek 3D pesawat dan membuat animasi yang lebih baik, agar aplikasi lebih menarik, interaktif, dan mudah dipahami. Abstract

IoT (Internet of Things) has become a separate field of research since the development of internet technology and other communication media, the more human needs are developing about technology, the more research that will be present, the internet of things is one of the thoughts of researchers who optimize several tools such as media sensors, radio frequency identification (RFID), wireless sensor networks and other smart objects that allow humans to easily interact with all equipment connected to the internet network. This paper describes the design of room control systems that utilize the IoT concept as a means for controlling and monitoring Avionic laboratory rooms via wifi in realtime. This helps the laboratory staff and AMTO managers in controlling lighting and monitoring temperature, humidity and smoke in the avionics lab room even though they are not in the laboratory location so as to increase the utility of the equipment.

Abstract

In this optical fiber communication system the initial signal in the form of an electrical signal at the transmitter will be changed by the transducer into a light wave which is then transmitted through a fiber optic cable to the receiver located at the end of the cable. At the receiver the optical signal will be reproduced again by the transducer into an electrical signal. This study aims to analyze the performance due to the influence of optical fiber attenuation, connector damping attenuation resulting in a decrease in power in the optical fiber cable and analyze the results of calculations using the link power budget that aims to find the value of the Transsiver to the Receiver. The area or region observed is the Medan-Tebing Tinggi area with two measuring track areas namely the Range Range which has a range of 89.99 km and the Siantar line which has a range of 99.99 km. The method used is the measurement of power, measurement of attenuation and calculations using the link power budget. Comparison of the results of the two measuring devices used, the results of the two measuring devices do not differ greatly between the power meter with the OTDR. So it can be stated that to see the amount of attenuation, the results will be more accurate by using a power meter. Based on comparison of measurement results using oTDR with the results of calculations using the link power budget method it can be seen the level of performance of an optical fiber communication system. For Core 1 range, the comparison is 0.063% and 0.073% for core 2. while for Tebing Tinggi 1 core, the comparison result is 0.032% and 0.005% is obtained for core 2. it can be stated that the performance of the optical fiber communication system is normal and can be used to operate. So that when connecting the optical cable, if it is broken, it must be connected using the same cable and connecting the optical fiber when the core is sterile so that the connection is perfect.

Abstract

This study seeks to identify the personality competencies possessed by aviation polytechnic educators in an effort to foster cadet excellence. This study is qualitative with a case study design and uses three data collection methods: in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. The subjects of the study were educators from the Medan Aviation Polytechnic who were selected using a technique of purposive sampling. These are the findings of this study: Educators participate in self-improvement trainings in order to increase their contribution to cadet excellence. The personality competencies of educators are also reflected in the openness with which they carry out their respective responsibilities and duties. Educators' self-discipline in addressing problems related to their primary responsibilities demonstrates their personality competence in order to foster cadet excellence.

Abstract

Energi matahari merupakan sumber energi alternatif yang potensial dan ramah lingkungan,sehinggaapabilaenergiinidapatdikeloladenganbaik,diharapkankebutuhan masyarakat akan energi dapat terpenuhi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmenganalisis pengaruh temperatur terhadap efisiensi panel surya serta menganalisiskondisi system dan lingkungan yangmempengaruhi efisiensi panel surya, dengancara memasang pendingin pada panel agar diketahui perubahan nilai efisiensi padasaat suhu didinginkan. Abstract

Microstrip antennas are antennas that are often applied because of their simple structure and easy to apply. The purpose of the experiment was to design and analyze the results of microstrip antennas in CST applications with a frequency of 10.5 GHz. Experiments used single patch antennas, 1 x 2 arrays using 2 patches and 1 x 4 antenna arrays using 4 antenna patches. Each series has different characteristics of return loss, gain, VSWR, and axial ratio. Based on these experiments, the results were obtained, namely the return loss of single patch, array 1x2 and array 1 x 4 respectively were -19 dB, -11 dB and -19 dB, while antenna gain was 2.9 times, 9.09 times and 2.27 times. The lowest VSWR value is found in the single patch circuit while the highest is found in the 1 x 4 array antenna. The axial ratio of a single patch and an array of 1 x 4 has the same value of 40, while a series of arrays of 1 x 2 has an axial ratio value of 35. Based on these results, it can be concluded that each circuit has a specification of values that are not the same, but it is still included in the appropriate antenna criteria, namely VSWR <2 and return loss below -10 dB.
