Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is an acute infectious disease caused by the dengue virus which is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito and enters human blood. Data on DHF sufferers in Dukuh Waringinrejo in RW 20 Gang Elang 2. Information from the village midwife obtained 5 DHF sufferers, 3 children and 2 adults. The purpose of this activity is to find out if there is an increase in the knowledge of posyandu cadres, especially RW 19 and 20 Dukuh Waringinrejo, Cemani Village in preventing DHF through counseling to posyandu cadres. Posyandu Nusa Indah 15 is the location for implementing counseling which is located in Dukuh Waringinrejo. The number of participants in counseling on prevention of DHF was 15 posyandu cadres. The method used in carrying out community service activities is in the form of counseling about DHF with the target of posyandu cadres RW 19 and 20 Dukuh Waringinrejo, Cemani Village. The intervention was carried out using the lecture method and using educational videos about DHF. The activity instrument was in the form of pre-test and post-test questionnaires. From the results of the average pre-test and post-test values, it can be concluded that there is an increase in knowledge of posyandu cadres after counseling is held.

Abstract

Stroke is one of several priority health problems that is often reported by the Gemolong Community, Sragen. Strokes do not only attack the elderly, but people of productive age can experience strokes. Stroke events can be prevented by reducing risk factors for stroke, and proper management of stroke attacks can prevent morbidity and mortality. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of Aisyiyah administrators in promoting stroke prevention and handling stroke attacks appropriately. The methods used in service activities are training and simulation which includes program outreach, providing education about stroke prevention and treatment. The output of the service, namely the participants' knowledge and skills regarding stroke prevention and treatment, increases. This can be seen from the increasing pre-test and post-test results. Likewise, regarding the cadre's skills in how to treat stroke sequelae with bed transfer and ROM, the cadre is able to demonstrate bed transfer and ROM correctly according to what has been taught.

Abstract

Data from World Health Organization (WHO) shows that cases of internal bleeding due to accidents are 5.8 million deaths per year worldwide (Dahlan et al., 2021). Early awareness of internal bleeding is very important so that nurses can immediately take anticipation to prevent unwanted things(Damayanti, 2022). This literature study aims to determine the effectiveness of the CAN BLEED score for early detection of internal bleeding emergencies in trauma cases. The research method uses a literature review study design using PICOS. Article search through publish or perish 8 application with keywords "early detection AND internal bleeding AND trauma" from Pubmed, Crossref, and Google Scholar search databases based on the year of publication 2018-2022. The results of the article search found 4 articles relevant to the main topic. The results showed Canadian Bleeding (CAN BLEED) score is effective for determining internal bleeding in trauma cases.
