Abstract

In 2023, the selection of Civil Servant Candidates for lecturer formation was opened by the Indonesian government. Thorough preparation for applicants is needed. One of the necessary preparations is mental preparation. Based on the candidates’ mental preparation, this community service aimed to increase their motivation. Furthermore, the activity was conducted through the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method via Zoom meeting. The motivation material was delivered by four experienced civil servant lecturers participating in the selection in 2021, and it was guided by another lecturer as the moderator. Moreover, there were 88 attending participants with an average of 75 participants. The participants were involved in interactive discussions after the material presentation session. Based on the presentation and discussion, communicating with immediate family, focusing on completing documents for administrative selection, following related information and regulations actively, and preparing mentally are essential things to face in the selection of Civil Servant Candidates for lecturer formation.

Abstract

Penerimaan Calon Aparatur Negeri Sipil (CASN) formasi dosen tahun 2023 kembali dibuka. Untuk lolos di semua tahapannya, pendaftar harus berusaha dengan penuh integritas dan sportivitas agar dapat lolos sampai tahap akhir, yaitu diterima di formasi yang dilamar. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diselenggarakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan motivasi untuk bersikap penuh integritas dan sportivitas peserta Calon Aparatur Negeri Sipil formasi dosen tahun 2023. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan metode Focus Group Discussion (FGD) secara daring melalui zoom meeting. Materi motivasi disampaikan oleh 5 orang dosen PNS dari berbagai perguruan tinggi negeri yang berpengalaman sebagai peserta seleksi CPNS tahun 2021 dengan latar belakang pengalaman kerja yang berbeda-beda. Selain itu, diskusi ini dipandu oleh seorang dosen lainnya sebagai moderator. Peserta yang hadir dalam FGD ini berjumlah 246 orang dengan rata-rata kehadiran yaitu 230 orang. Selain mendengarkan pemaparan materi, peserta diperkenankan bertanya melalui kolom komentar (chat) dan menjadi salah satu bahan diskusi saat FGD ini. Berdasarkan pemaparan materi dan diskusi dapat disimpulkan bahwa peserta CASN formasi dosen 2023 perlu percaya diri dengan kemampuan diri sendiri, fokus pada pengembangan diri, membuat kelompok belajar yang kondusif, banyak berlatih untuk setiap jenis tahapan tes, dan aktif mengikuti informasi dan regulasi dari laman resmi.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, learning activities on campus were carried out online, so lecturers and students were familiar with the LMS (Learning Management System). LMS in general is software designed to create, distribute and organize the delivery of learning material. Therefore, even though currently the majority of learning is done offline, this LMS is still used by lecturers to help them in the lecture process. This study aimed to know students’ perception towards the implementation of H5P-based interactive learning media on Learning Management System (LMS) of State Polytechnic of Lampung. Furthermore, this research used survey-based approach. There were 50 samples of the research. They were students of Economics and business department who took Basic English. The findings of this study are expected to be beneficial for the future maintenance and development of H5P-based interactive learning media on LMS, as well as for determining the optimal method of conducting online learning.

Abstract

The development of technology and information has changed how people communicate today, leading to the digital concept. The use of digital concepts must begin with an assessment of digital literacy through valid measuring tools. This research aims to make ISO 29995:2021 the basis for making valid measuring instruments for digital literacy, especially in the village context. The research method in this study used PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-analyses) by screening 988 articles based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in 8 articles that were further analyzed. The results show no valid digital literacy instrument was used in the village context. ISO 29995:2021 can be recommended as one of the cornerstones in creating valid instruments.
