Abstract

Amoxicillin merupakan antibiotik yang paling banyak digunakan oleh Masyarakat. Amoxicillin efektif pada bakteri gram positif dan beberapa tambahan cakupan gram negatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan Masyarakat terhadap penggunaan amoxicillin. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 100 orang. Studi crosssectional dilakukan pada Masyarakat yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Penelitian gambaran pengetahuan penggunaan amoxicillin pada Masyarakat dusun srijaya desa pucang miliran kecamatan tulung kabupaten Klaten tahun 2023 dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata tingkat pengetahuan pasien terhadap penggunaan amoxicillin sebesar 79% dengan kategori baik.

Abstract

Abstrak Masyarakat butuh bantuan akademisi untuk membantu masa pemulihan ekonomi dari dampak covid-19 yang melanda pada tiga tahun terakhir ini. Masyarakat butuh bimbingan teknik maupun non teknik dalam mengembangkan usaha yang sedang dirintis. Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta telah membentuk tim Pemberdayaan Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) yang sudah berpengalaman membantu masyarakat dalam mengembangkan usahanya. Tim telah melakukan observasi ke berbagai daerah dan telah memutuskan memilih mitra sasaran industri rumah tangga kripik buah “KreaChips” yang beralamatkan Jl. Ngargoyoso-Kemuning, Sidomulyo RT.3/RW. 3, Ngargoyoso, Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah. Industri ini dikembangkan oleh Yayuk Pidiyanto mulai tahun 2020. Awal mulanya Bapak Yayuk Pidiyanto kena dampak pengurangan karyawan di Ibukota. Alhasil beliau pulang ke desa. Bapak Yayuk Pidiyanto membuka usaha berjualan buah keliling. Banyak dagangan yang tidak laku dan akhirnya busuk. Singkat cerita Bapak Yayuk Pidiyanto punya kenalan di Malang untuk belajar membuat kripik buah. Bapak yayuk Pidiyanto juga diberi alat vacuum frying seharga 30 juta untuk digunakan produksi. Dengan modal alat tersebut Bapak Yayuk Pidiyanto sangat bersemangat untuk berwirausaha. Awal produksi, Bapak Yayuk Pidiyanto memproduksi kripik Nangka. Sekali produksi membutuhkan 10 kg bahan baku Nangka segar, diproses kurang lebih 2,5 jam menghasilkan kripik Nangka kurang lebih 3 kg. Untuk produksinya dibantu oleh 4 tenaga yaitu Sunarti, Simiyati, Waluyo, Agung Listiyanto. Berdasarkan pengumpulan data maka di dapat permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah: kekurangan modal, belum ada mitra/reseller sebagai agen penjualan, belum dilakukan penjualan secara online, kekurangan modal, desain kemasan dan label, kesulitan mencari bahan baku, belum memiliki izin P-IRT. Solusi yang ditangani tim dan mitra adalah: mencari reseller, mitra mahasiswa yang pernah mengikuti Program Wirausaha Merdeka (WMK) untuk mengembangkan wirausahanya, memperbaiki desain kemasan dan label produk, melakukan penjualan secara OnlineShop di Tokopedia. Abstract

Introduction: Escherichia coli is a pathogenic Gram-negative bacteria that commonly causes digestive tract infections, including diarrhea. Continuous use of antibiotics has led to an increase in bacterial resistance. Dewandaru leaves (Eugenia uniflora L.) have been known to have antibacterial activity against several pathogenic bacteria. This study aims to evaluate the antibacterial activity of dewandaru leaf extract against E. coli in vitro. Methods: Dewandaru leaves were extracted using the maceration method with 96% ethanol. The antibacterial activity test was carried out using the Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion method with gentamicin as a positive control and sterile NaCl as a negative control. The diameter of the inhibition zone was measured and analyzed statistically. Results: Dewandaru leaf extract shows antibacterial activity against E. coli with a significant zone of inhibition. An extract concentration of 80% showed moderate antibacterial activity, while concentrations of 40% and 60% did not show antibacterial activity. Conclusion: Dewandaru leaves have the potential to be a natural antibacterial agent against E. coli. Further studies are needed to isolate and identify the active compounds and evaluate the effectiveness and safety of dewandaru leaf extract in vivo.

Abstract

Roses (Rosa damascena Mill) are a commodity that has economic value that is not utilized optimally. Research on roses shows that roses have potential as a source of natural antioxidants. Some of the chemicals contained in roses include tannin, geraniol, nerol, citronellol, geranic acid, terpenes, flavonoids, pectin polyphenols, vanillin, carotenoids, stearopten, farnesol, eugenol, phenylethyl alcohol, vitamins B, C, E, and K. There is a need for further research regarding the active compounds contained in rose water which can have the potential to be used as a herbal drink for human health that meets standards by showing appropriate tests. The aim of this research is to determine the value, total flavonoids and vitamin C value in waste and rose water. This research was designed with stages of determination of rose plants, preliminary tests, phytochemical screening of rose waste and water including: organoleptic observations, total flavonoids and vitamin C. From the research, it was found that the total value of flavonoids in mamar flower waste water was 1.24 ± 0.03, while in rose water it was 0.68 ± 0.02. The main flavonoid compound is quercetin which consists of lutein, luteoxanthin and ?-carotene and is correlated with antioxidant activity. The level of Vitamin C in C rose flower waste is 0.314 ± 0.0028, while in rose water it is 0.244 ± 0.0009, this is due to the ascorbic acid content. From the results, the value of vitamin C shows a correlation with flavonoids. The higher the flavonoid value, the higher the vitamin C value. With the flavonoid and vitamin C content, rose flower waste and water have the potential as a health herbal drink.
