Abstract

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) has changed the educational paradigm as a whole, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The digital era brings new opportunities as well as challenges that need to be overcome to maximize the potential of Islamic education. PAI curriculum management in the digital era requires appropriate strategies for integrating technology to increase the relevance and effectiveness of learning. The integration of technology in PAI curriculum management can increase interactivity and learning quality. Adequate technological infrastructure and solid digital skills are required from educators and students. Tailoring relevant content is key to delivering effective learning. Literature studies emphasize curriculum development that is responsive to technology, innovative learning methods, and technology-based evaluation. Policies that support the use of technology in PAI need to be improved to ensure safe and effective use. This research uses a qualitative approach to identify main themes in PAI curriculum management in the digital era, showing that ICT integration can strengthen the quality of PAI learning and prepare students to face global challenges in the digital era. Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) telah mengubah paradigma pendidikan secara menyeluruh, termasuk dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Era digital membawa peluang baru sekaligus tantangan yang perlu diatasi untuk memaksimalkan potensi pendidikan Islam. Manajemen kurikulum PAI di era digital memerlukan strategi yang tepat untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi guna meningkatkan relevansi dan efektivitas pembelajaran. Integrasi teknologi dalam manajemen kurikulum PAI dapat meningkatkan interaktivitas dan kualitas pembelajaran. Diperlukan infrastruktur teknologi yang memadai serta keterampilan digital yang solid dari pendidik dan peserta didik. Penyesuaian konten yang relevan merupakan kunci dalam menghadirkan pembelajaran yang efektif. Studi literatur menekankan pengembangan kurikulum yang responsif terhadap teknologi, metode pembelajaran inovatif, dan evaluasi berbasis teknologi. Kebijakan yang mendukung penggunaan teknologi dalam PAI perlu ditingkatkan untuk memastikan pemanfaatan yang aman dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengidentifikasi tema-tema utama dalam manajemen kurikulum PAI di era digital, menunjukkan bahwa integrasi TIK dapat memperkuat kualitas pembelajaran PAI dan mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan global dalam era digital.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of Human Resources Management (HRDM) in Islamic Religious Education Madrasahs in Medan, North Sumatra. The aim is to analyze HRM practices, identify challenges, and formulate optimization strategies in the context of Islamic education. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation and document analysis. This research reveals that madrasas have implemented several good HRM practices, such as HR planning based on needs analysis and professional development programs. However, significant challenges were found such as budget limitations, lack of HR experts, and resistance to change. Based on these findings, the research proposes optimization strategies, including increasing budget allocation for human resource development, collaboration with universities, and implementing a more comprehensive performance management system. Research concludes that HRM has a vital role in improving the quality of education in madrasas. Even though there are challenges, with the right strategy, HRM can be optimized to support the achievement of Islamic education goals. The contribution of this research is significant to the Islamic education management literature, especially HRM in madrasas. Further research is needed to examine the effectiveness of HRM strategies in a broader context and their impact on student achievement and the overall quality of education.
