Abstract

Couples marry early, it is not uncommon for conflicts to occur which then lead the couple to experience tension and differences in principles in marriage. Couples have different ways of resolving domestic conflicts. The study aims to find out how conflict management works for adolescents who marry early in Panti Jember District. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects were three couples who were married teenagers aged 19-21 years. The results of the study show that there are three main themes, namely the causes of conflict, forms of conflict management, and factors that influence the application of conflict management by early marriage couples. The causes of conflict include emotional maturity, stress, and conflict with partners. Furthermore, the forms of conflict management that have proven effective to be applied to these conflicts are accommodation, collaboration, and conflict avoidance. Finally, the factors that affect the ability to apply conflict management are self-introspection, establishing good communication, respect, and support from partners.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of divorce on children's mental health. Where this research was conducted on children in Wringin Bondowoso Village through a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Methods of data collection carried out by means of observation and interviews. From the results of the study, the following data were obtained: (1) divorce is the breaking of the marriage bond due to the decision of both parties, which religiously and legally no longer binds as a husband and wife (2) divorce is caused by several causes, such as financial problems and not fulfilling economic needs (3) parental divorce greatly impacts children, especially on children's mental health.

Abstract

Abstract Conflicts that occur in the household can be a major factor that results in divorce. Divorce has had a huge impact on women's lives, not a few women who end up having to become the backbone of their families to meet the needs of their children. The existence of two roles that must be carried out by a woman is what is called a dual role woman. The purpose of this study was to see a more concrete picture and phenomenon related to domestic conflicts experienced by women with dual roles in Rowotengah village, where one of these problems was regarding disputes and constant bickering which resulted in divorce. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive study type of research. The results of the study show that most of the conflicts that occur are due to different perspectives between husbands and wives which lead to divorce. The conflict experienced by women with dual roles after divorce is getting hate speech from people around them, tending to be sensitive and emotional, and pressure from the surrounding environment because they become the subject of conversation.

Abstract

This study focused on the emotional intelligence of children coming from parenting. The background of this study is that different parenting styles will cause the emotional intelligence of each child to be different. This study aims to determine whether parenting has an effect on children's emotional intelligence in MI Nurul Ulum Grabagan, and to find out efforts to improve parenting in building children's emotional intelligence in MI Nurul Ulum Grabagan. In this research we used qualitative research methods and used a case study approach. To achieve this goal, researchers use data collection techniques by observation and interviews. The results of the study found that many parenting styles use democratic (authoritative) parenting, but there are also those who use authoritarian parenting. As well as efforts to improve parenting in improving children's emotional intelligence which will later be useful for the future children in social life.

Abstract

This journal discusses the problems related to divorce experienced by TKW in Tempurejo Bangorejo Village, Banyuwangi. The poverty rate is a trigger factor for the response that becoming a migrant worker is the only way that has a positive impact on family finances. but it turns out to provide a negative side also to result in divorce. This research uses a qualitative approach, so the research tends to be natural setting, with an emphasis on descriptive. Using an empirical approach and research directly related to reality. The method used is the observation method. Referring to this, the poverty rate in Banyuwangi is decreasing, but the economic conditions that remain unchanged make a wife's determination to become a TKW have positive hopes for the family's economy.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a tendency to delay doing and completing tasks in the academic field completely. Academic procrastination also occurs among students. This study aims to determine the existence of academic procrastination and the factors that cause academic procrastination in students of the Islamic guidance and counseling study program at Uin Jember, class of 2018. The research method used is a qualitative research method with interview techniques. The subjects of this study were 5 students of the Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program at Uin Jember, class of 2018. The results of this study were that there was academic procrastination in students of the Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program at Uin Jember, class of 2018 and it was also known that the factors causing academic procrastination in 2018 class students namely, feeling lazy, busy working, lack of facilities, repeating courses, taking special courses, it is difficult to determine the time of guidance due to clashes with other activities, among these factors the biggest factors are feeling lazy and busy working.
