Abstract

Paparan pestisida terhadap tubuh manusia tak ubahnya masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat dan merupakan penyebab kematian 12,6 juta orang per tahun. Ada beberapa gangguan yang diakibatkan oleh paparan pestisida, salah satu diantaranya adalah gangguan sistem saraf sebagai salah satu dari sepuluh gangguan di tempat kerja. Kabupaten Enrekang merupakan daerah dengan pemasok sayuran terbanyak di Sulawesi Selatan dengan tingkat penggunaan pestisida yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh paparan pestisida terhadap neurobehavioral petani sayuran di Desa Sumillan Kabupaten Enrekang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian cross-sectional dengan kriteria inklusi yaitu petani penyemprot sayuran serta telah melakukan penyemprotan dalam satu bulan terakhir dan sampel dipilih secara purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 162 responden, penelitian dianalisis secara univariat, bivariat dan multivariate dengan regresi logistik. Hasil akhir analisis multivariat menunjukkan secara statistik variabel yang paling terdapat pengaruh dengan efek neurobehavioral diantara variable yang ada yaitu kebiasaan merokok dengan nilai Exp(B) 2.638 . Perlu adanya penyampaian edukasi terkait dampak rokok bagi petani untuk menghindari masalah yang berkaitan dengan saraf dan penyakit lainnya.

Abstract

Adolescence is especially important for improving mental health because more than 50% of mental health problems begin at that time and many of them persist into adulthood. The increasing cases of adolescent mental disorders indicate a lack of effective mental health care for adolescents. This is clearly an important issue that has an impact on the mental development of teenagers. Addressing adolescent mental health is by increasing knowledge about the problem. The focus of this activity is to increase teenagers' knowledge about mental health and its impacts. The methods used in this activity are lectures and discussions. With a total of 60 teenagers participating, the education was carried out at SMAN 8 Maros. The results obtained after the education was carried out were an increase in the level of knowledge of teenagers regarding mental health and its impacts and how to deal with it. Advice to teenagers is expected to disseminate the information that has been obtained to other teenagers.

Abstract

Safety and security are the main things that need to be considered when driving on the road, both for four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicle users. The risk factors for traffic injuries include various aspects, one of which is human error. Teenagers need to be coached and given good guidance to be more careful when driving. The aim of this community service is to increase the knowledge of youth groups regarding safety riding at SMAN 10 Makassar. The method provided in implementing this socialization is in the form of a lecture method and audiovisual media which is divided into 3 stages. Stage 1 preparation includes determining the schedule and preparing educational tools and instruments. Stage 2 of implementation includes a pre-test providing counseling material, a question and answer session and discussion as well as a post-test. Stage 3 is the evaluation stage. The results obtained show that there is an influence of providing lecture and audiovisual method counseling on the knowledge of students at SMAN 10 Makassar with the results of the Wilcpxon Test obtaining a p value (0.001).
