Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the variables of motivation, communication and work stress affect the variable job satisfaction where the approach taken in this study is a quantitative approach through correlational research or looking for the influence between independent variables and the dependent variable. The total number of objects of this research are all employees at PT. Rama Gemilang Energi Indopersada Batam opened 52 people while the sample used was a census sample. In this case the researcher's data collection is by distributing questionnaires directly to the respondents and then using the SPSS program where the results of the multiple linear regression test, validity test and reliability test will be obtained. to increase job satisfaction increase employee perceived motivation, effective communication within the organization and employee work stress must be managed in order to increase job satisfaction.

Abstract

In the midst of Indonesia's economic downturn during the pandemic, people tend to prioritize economic stability by minimizing spending on luxury goods. However, the reality is that there is an increase in buying and selling which affects the occupancy rate which is quite significant at Purimas Batam Center Residence. This study aims to analyze whether the perceived price, location, and product quality variables have an influence on purchasing decisions at Purimas Residence Batam Centre. This study uses quantitative techniques by collecting data through online questionnaires. The objects in this study used are residents who inhabit both as owners and or tenants at Purimas Residence Batam Centre. The total population in this study were 190 people. With a simple random sample technique, the sample obtained by the slovin formula is 129 respondents. This research uses multiple regression analysis with SPSS program. The results of this study indicate that; 1) Perceived price has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions at Purimas Residence Batam Centre, 2) location has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions at Purimas Residence Batam Centre, 3) Product quality has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions at Purimas Residence Batam Centre, 4) Perveived Price, Location, and Product Quality have a significant positive effect simultaneous and significant impact on purchasing decisions with the object of research on of the Purimas Residence Batam Centre.

Abstract

The Port Business Entity is one of the port management business units in Batam which is special because it is not managed directly by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, but is managed by the Batam Free Trade Area and Free Port Concession Agency. The output of BUP is port services. anchoring service activities in the form of dock mooring services, water services, loading and unloading services, rental services for stacking/warehouse areas, scout and tug services, and finally through put services (especially at the Kabil liquid bulk port). As one of the business units managed by the Batam Free Trade Area and Free Port Concession Board, employees are required to report all activities carried out to the Batam Free Trade and Free Port Concession Board. Before the activity report is submitted to the Batam Free Trade Area and Free Port Concession Board, the personnel section is obliged to control its employees for the success of the realization of work targets such as the provision and service of port services. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of organizational culture, work environment and leadership style on the performance of Batam Port Business Entity Office employees, either partially or simultaneously. The research method used is quantitative and qualitative methods based on primary in the form of questionnaires and secondary data from agencies. The number of samples in this study were 104 respondents who were employees of the Batam Port business entity office. The data analysis technique was carried out by multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS statistical tools. The results of the study found that organizational culture had a significant partial effect on employee performance. The work environment has no significant effect partially on employee performance. Leadership style partially significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture, work environment and leadership style simultaneously have a significant effect on performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Product Quality, Price and Brand on Polygon Bicycle Purchase Decisions in the Batam City Pandemic Era. The results of this study tested the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions using t-test with a significance level of 0.05, obtained p-value of 0.047 <0.05, then reject H_0. This shows that there is a positive and significant effect of product quality on purchasing decisions for polygon bicycles in the Batam City pandemic era. The results of the analysis using the t-test obtained a p-value of 0.034 <0.05 then reject H_0. These results indicate that in this study the price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for polygon bicycles in the Batam City pandemic era. The results of the job satisfaction test with the t-test obtained a p- value of 0.000 <0.05, then rejecting H_0 it can be said that there is a positive and significant influence on the decision to purchase polygon bicycles in the Batam City pandemic era. In this study, simultaneously testing using the F test with a significance level of 0.05 obtained a p-value of 0.000 then reject H_0. The results of this study indicate that the variables of product quality, price and brand together will affect purchasing decisions.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and modernization, corporate competition is getting sharper, human resources need to consistenly engage in proactive self-development and swiftly adapt to changing times. Every company must improve employee performance in order to continue to persist in business, special case at pharmaceutical sector. Of course, improving employee performance is important for them . The aim of this research was to determine and analyze the impact of compensation, work motivation, and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Antermitra Sembada Batam. The research methode using quantitative method. Employees of PT. Antermitra Sembada Batam Branch as population with a total of 55 (2022), sample is 55 respondents. The primary method of data collection involved distributing questionnaires to the participants. Analysis of the gathered data was performed utilizing multiple linear regression analysis within a quantitative research framework, processing using the SPSS version 23 software program. The results of research indicate that compensation, has insignificant impact on the employees performance with a probability value of 0.134 > 0.05. Both of motivation and dicipline has a significant impact on the employees performance with a probability value of 0.035 < 0.05; 0.011 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination value of 35.6% could be attribute of compensation, work motivation, and work discipline and the majority, accounnting 64.4% , attribute by another variables not explore.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of price on purchasing decisions for Ms Glow among students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Batam University, to determine the influence of product quality on purchasing decisions for Ms Glow among students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Batam University, to determine the influence of Brand Ambassadors on purchasing decisions for Ms Glow. For students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Batam University, to find out price, product quality and Brand Ambassador together, they influence purchasing decisions for students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Batam University. The method that the author used in preparing this thesis is a quantitative method with descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The population in this study were all students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Batam University who used Ms Glow products with a total of 162 students. The sample for this research was 116 respondents. Data processing in this research used the SPSS Version 27.0 software program. From the results of calculations and analysis using SPSS Version 27.0 software, the author can draw the conclusion that the Price Variable (X1) has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The Product Quality variable (X2) has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The Brand Ambassador variable (X3) has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions with a significance value of 0.009 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination value of 82.6% shows the contribution of price, product quality and Brand Ambassador to purchasing decisions and the remaining 17.4% is influenced by various other variables.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Direct Marketing, Brand Image dan Impulsive Buying Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Pizza Hut di Kota Batam. Metode yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen Pizza Hut di Kota Batam yang berjumlah 342907 orang, dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 responden. Tehnik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 100 responden. Hasil pengelolaan data dalam penelitian ini adalah Variabel Direct Marketing (X1) mempunyai pengaruh prositif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, Variabel Brand Image (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, Variabel Impulsive Buying (X3) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, Terdapat pengaruh signifikan secara simultan pada variabel Direct Marketing, Brand Image dan Impulsive Buying terhadap Keputusan Pembelian oleh Konsumen Pizza Hut di Kota Batam.
