Abstract

This study is aimed to evaluate the implementation of teacher performance appraisal program in Tanjungpinang City. This study is a qualitative research, using CIPP model.The results of this study concluded about the implementation of teacher performance appraisal program in accordance with the evaluation criteria. Generally the teacher performance appraisal program in junior high schools in Tanjungpinang City was designed well as a quality control system of teaching and learning activity in class. However, this study shows some findings about the implementation of teacher performance appraisal program that do not meet the evaluation criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to determine the effect of supervision, work culture, trust, and attitudes to the performance of public elementary-school principal of West Jakarta city. To describe how much influence the effect of supervision, the culture, and trust to performance of elementary public principals of West Jakarta city. The research method used is the survey method with causal techniques. Whereas to analyze the existing or influence between one variable with another using variable path analysis. The population of West Jakarta city, and sampling procedure using the technique of sample random sampling as much as 80 principals were taken randomly. Results of the study found that the supervision of variable turned out to have effects directly to the performance; work culture also has effects directly to the performance, and trust has effects directly to the performance. Whereas trust variables prove to have direct influence from supervision and work culture. Based on the findings above, it can be concluded that the variations that occur on performance variables are supervision, work culture, and trust variables.

Abstract

Managing santri loyalty makes pesantren to win competition amid the high growth of pesantren in Indonesia. This study aims to examine santri loyalty model through the image of pesantren, service quality, and santri satisfaction. Samples of this study were 344 students from 2029 students of the largest pesantren in Jakarta and analyzed the data using path analysis. Findings showed that service quality of pesantren has a direct effect on santri loyalty which is the strongest compared to the image of pesantren and santri satisfaction. It is suggested to kyai and managers of pesantren can pay attention to services quality, the image of pesantren, and santri satisfaction, because it is proved to be able to increase santri loyalty.
