Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak kerugian ekonomi akibat sampah plastik di laut terhadap aktivitas penangkapan ikan oleh nelayan skala kecil di Desa Bagan Serdang Kecamatan Pantai Labu. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan purposive sampling dalam memilih informan. Lokasi penelitian adalah objek dalam penelitian yang dilakukan. Penentuan lokasi dilakukan untuk memudahkan dan memperjelas lokasi yang akan menjadi sasaran dalam penelitian. Adapun alasan dipilihnya lokasi penelitian di Desa Bagan Serdang, Kecamatan Pantai Labu, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara sebagai lokasi penelitian yaitu karena wilayah merupakan wilayah yang cukup memprihatinkan secara lingkungan, kesehatan, pendidikan, social, dan ekonomi. Ketergantungan masyarakat pada sumber daya laut sebagai sumber pendapatan utama menekankan pentingnya merawat ekosistem perairan. Hasil penelitian ini mungkin menjadi pijakan untuk mencari solusi yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan dalam menghadapi permasalahan tersebut. Kolaborasi antara ilmuwan, masyarakat, dan pemerintah memiliki peran penting dalam mengatasi tantangan lingkungan dan ekonomi yang rumit di kawasan Pantai Labu, Desa Bagan Serdang.

Abstract

Unemployment is a very complex problem, especially in the Sumatra region with an average unemployment rate that exceeds the average in Indonesia. The purpose of this quantitative research is to analyze the effect of education, the human development index, economic growth, and minimum wage on unemployment in Sumatra region. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics and analyzed using panel data regression by applying the Fixed Effect Model. The results showed that education and economic growth have a negative effect and HDI and minimum wage have a positive effect on unemployment. In this study, it was found that HDI and economic growth have a significant influence on unemployment, while education and minimum wage have an insignificant influence. Based on the R-squared value of 0.9137 which interprets that the independent variable affects the dependent variable by 91.37%, the remaining 8.63% is influenced by other variables outside this study. The results of this study are expected to be used as a basis for policy-making and as a literature review in further research related to unemployment.

Abstract

The importance of implementing the principle of divinity in the spirit of gotong royong as a form of religious moderation in order to strengthen religious harmony in Indonesia. This reflects the challenges of religious harmony in the midst of religious diversity in Indonesia. The research method applied in this study involves the use of questionnaires distributed to members of the Mechanical Engineering Department Student Association at Medan State University as many as 15 respondents. This approach is designed to collect relevant data and this study aims to analyze the correlation between the level of understanding of the principle of divinity and the effectiveness of its implementation in the spirit of gotong royong, as well as its impact on religious harmony within the Medan State University at the Mechanical Engineering Department Student Association
