Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap kinerja pegawai Rumah Sakit Labuang Baji. Sumber data pada penelitian ini berupa data primer yang diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden. Populasi adalah 781 pegawai dengan sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 24 PNS dan 23 Non PNS menggunakan rumus slovin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier sederhana, uji t, dan koefisien determinasi dan data diolah menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan self-efficacy terhadap kinerja pegawai golongan PNS yang ditunjukkan dari hasil uji t di mana nilai t hitung > nilai t tabel yaitu 4,239 > 1,717 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil penelitian terhadap Non PNS pun positif dan signifikan yang ditunjukkan dari hasil uji t di mana nilai t hitung > nilai t tabel yaitu 4,118 > 1,721 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Disimpulkan bahwa self-efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Rumah Sakit Labuang Baji baik golongan PNS maupun Non PNS.

Abstract

Work stress, often arising from factors such as heavy workloads, tight deadlines, and interpersonal conflicts, can negatively impact employees' mental and physical health, job satisfaction, and overall job performance. High levels of work stress can lead to decreased motivation, increased absenteeism, and reduced productivity, which can ultimately affect an organization's bottom line. On the other hand, job satisfaction is a measure of how content employees are with their work and the work environment. When employees are satisfied with their jobs, they tend to be more engaged, motivated, and committed to their tasks, leading to higher job performance and overall organizational success. Job satisfaction is influenced by various factors, including job security, recognition, work-life balance, and opportunities for growth and development. This study aims to determine the effects of work stress (X1) and job satisfaction (X2) on the performance (Y) of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk, Panakkukang Makassar Branch. The research type employed is descriptive quantitative. The study's population consists of all employees at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk, which includes 73 branches in Panakkukang Makassar. The sample size comprises 73 employees. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire. Data analysis involved simple regression analysis using SPSS Version 25 in 2023. The results indicate that work stress has no positive and significant effect on performance; when work stress increases, employee performance decreases, and vice versa. Conversely, job satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on performance. When individuals experience higher job satisfaction, it leads to improved performance.

Abstract

This study attempts to evaluate how employees' job satisfaction is impacted by their workplace environment at PT Pos Indonesia Regional X Makassar. It adopts a quantitative approach, collecting data from a sample of 65 people using questionnaires, and then analyzing that data using the simple linear regression method using SPSS software. The work environment variable has a significant level of significance in the results, with a shockingly low p-value of 0.000 (far lower than the conventional cutoff of 0.05). Additionally, the dependent variable is significantly and favorably influenced by variable X, as indicated by its coefficient value of 0.596. This study supports the null hypothesis (H), showing that the workplace has a significant and advantageous impact on job satisfaction. According to this study, which is backed up by strong statistical data, the workplace culture at PT Pos Indonesia Regional X Makassar plays a crucial role in impacting employee job satisfaction.
