Abstract

Ultrasonograph (USG) is a diagnostic support tool in hospitals, which utilizes ultrasonic waves with a frequency (more than 20,000 Hz) to produce images. This tool is needed for parents, especially pregnant women, to find out the condition / development of the fetus. Preventive or preventive maintenance is maintenance activities in the form of maintenance by cleaning tools which are carried out every day by operators and adjustment, lubrication and replacement of maintenance materials which are carried out by technicians on a regular basis. The method used in this research is observation with qualitative descriptive research. Based on the results of the research on the preventive maintenance of the Ultrasonograph (USG) device at the University of North Sumatra Hospital in Medan, where out of the 20 questions given, 17 answered yes and 3 answered no, thus the implementation of preventive maintenance at the North Sumatra General Hospital was concluded as good.

Abstract

A nebulizer is a piece of equipment used to convert liquid medication into an aerosol that will be inhaled by the user according to a doctor's prescription. The design of a timer and water level sensor on an Arduino Uno-based nebulizer was carried out to make it easier for users to operate and add an automation system that is integrated with an Arduino Uno type microcontroller. This design has the same device concept as a nebulizer in general, but adds a timer system via an attached push button and relay. Apart from that, the addition of a water level sensor is used to detect the amount of fluid in the reservoir. This design uses an experimental concept with narrative qualitative research methods. Device design is divided into 2 types, namely hardware and software. Programming using Arduino IDE and circuit simulation using Proteus. The design was successfully made and testing was carried out on the timer and water level sensor. The nebulizer worked according to its function and the timer test error value was 0.018704323 with a comparison difference with the stopwatch of 0.5 seconds.

Abstract

Electrical safety test or often referred to as Electrical safety test is a testing process to evaluate whether electrical or electronic devices are safe to use by users. The elements tested include: isolation stage, grounding stage, and leakage current stage. Meanwhile, baby incubator calibration is the process of readjusting the device to provide accurate results in measuring temperature, humidity and air pressure in a certain environment. The importance of electrical safety tests and calibration of baby incubators is to minimize the risk of accidents and errors in their use, especially in babies who are susceptible to changes in environmental conditions. Therefore, the electrical safety test process and calibration of the baby incubator must be carried out regularly and periodically.

Abstract

Telah Dilakukan Sosialisasi Dan Simulasi Kecepatan Putaran Pada Centrifuge Berbasis Arduino ATMega 328P, Sosialisasi ini sangat penting dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan user dan teknisi dalam Pemeliharaan peralatan, untuk memperpanjang usia pemakaian peralatan serta terjaminnya kinerja peralatan yang berfungsi sesuai spesifikasinya.Centrifuge adalah alat yang digunakan untuk memisahkan cairan menurut berat jenisnya, alat ini digunkan di ruang laboratorium untuk memisahkan sampel seperti darah, urine, dan lain-lain. Komponen utama Centrifuge adalah motor C yang berfungsi memutar sampel dengan gaya centrifugal dengan kecapatan dan waktu yang sudah ditentukan. Centrifuge yang penulis buat menggunakan mikrokontroller At Mega 328p dan terdiri dari komponen motor DC, driver motor, lcd 20x4, sensor kecepatan, buzzer dan keypad. Sensor yang digunakan adalah sensor optocoupler yang berfungsi untuk mengetahui kecepatan motor, driver motor digunakan untuk mengatur kecepatan motor sesuai keinginan user, lcd berfungsi untuk menampilkan kecepatan motor dan timer, buzzer akan berbunyi ketika proses pemisahan sampel telah selesai, keypad sebagai inputan kecepatan dan timer. Pada motor terdapat sensor yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kecepatan motor tersebut. Bila kecepatan sudah tercapai, driver motor akan bekerja mengontrol motor agar tetap sesuai dengan kecepatan yang dikehendaki.
