Abstract

This research aims to discuss the effectiveness of WhatsApp Group-based da'wah information in village communities. This research departs from the phenomenon of housewives searching for information on da'wah using Whatsapp Group (WAG) which occurred in Cibening 01 Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province. This research uses descriptive-qualitative research using a field research approach. The results and discussion of this research show that housewives' search for information on da'wah based on WhatsApp Groups (WAG) is quite effective. From this research it can be seen that the information behavior of housewives regarding da'wah information both in past and present situations chooses based on the need for knowledge obtained, the cognitive gap in housewives chooses the most easily accessible, on the bridge of cognition housewives are able to use the internet , attend the recitation of the majlis taklim, and read books to find information, and for the results of the da'wah information obtained by housewives, they can apply it in their daily lives and practice it again with other people.

Abstract

The increase in cases of early marriage in Indonesia is something that must be considered, Pamijahan District is one of the highest sub-districts with cases of early marriage of 688 couples. This is due to the increasing use of social media, one of the most frequently used social media, especially in their teens, is TikTok social media. In 2019-2022, TikTok social media has become one of the most downloaded and accessed applications by Indonesian people. This study aims to determine the effect of social media TikTok on the attitude of early marriage in adolescents in Pamijahan Subdistrict, as many as 351 respondents became the sample of this study, namely students at Al-Amin High School, Pamijahan 1 High School, Ibnu Hajar High School, and Al- Ijtihad High School. This study used the non-parametric method of the Chi Square test with data collection using a google form and a questionnaire. By using SPSS and carrying out the Chi Square Test, the Sig values of all independent variables (X) with respect to Y were obtained at a Sig value of <0.05. The results of this study are social media TikTok influences the attitude of early marriage in adolescents in Pamijahan District.

Abstract

Information behavior arises when a person is aware of the need for information used related to daily activities or work. The digital era is an era where the flow of information is growing rapidly and is easy to find. Information is so easy to create, disseminate and use by the wider community. Likewise, with the public's lack of understanding of the Covid-19 Vaccine, the public's lack of understanding of the Covid-19 Vaccine has led to community behavior regarding the rejection of the Covid-19 Vaccine by the people of Ciaruteun Ilir Village. The researcher aims to determine the information behavior of the people of Ciaruteun Ilir Village and aims to find out what factors influence the information behavior of the people of Ciaruteun Ilir Village towards the Covid-19 Vaccine. This research uses qualitative descriptive research types and methods. This research uses Wilson's (1996) theory which focuses on people's search behavior for the Covid-19 vaccine. The subjects of this research were the people of Ciaruteun Ilir Village using observation and interview data collection techniques. This research uses Miles & Huberman data analysis, the results of this research are rejection of the Covid-19 Vaccine in the Ciaruteun Ilir Village community with a lack of socialization causing the community's understanding of the importance of the Covid-19 Vaccine to not be optimal, the community's information seeking behavior process is still lacking due to psychological factors and environmental factors are factors that determine the level of success in meeting information needs.

Abstract

Pornography causes distorted perceptions of social reality or excessive perceptions of various levels of sexual behavior in the general population. Some cases indicate that individuals who repeatedly view pornography may develop mental problems/disorders regarding sexuality. Sexually provocative children may be at increased risk of becoming sexual victims. Furthermore, engaging in sexual social interactions and viewing it as a game can cause emotional disturbances to other children who are exposed at inappropriate ages and sometimes even trigger sexually aggressive behavior. This research aims to understand the perceptions of students in the Pamijahan District regarding Pornography Content on Social Media. The informants in this study are high school students in the Pamijahan district, and the research uses a qualitative method with purposive sampling technique. Adolescents' perceptions of pornography content on social media are processes that allow individuals to choose, categorize, and interpret specific stimuli from the environment and processes that influence individuals.

Abstract

The development of technology and information that is so widespread has made the spread of hoax information widespread, one of which is social media that is widely used by housewives, namely WhatsApp, which can have a bad influence so that media literacy is needed in responding to it. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between housewife media literacy in responding to hoax news via WhatsApp media in Tapos II Village and how big the relationship is. The method used is correlation with Rank Spearman analysis. The study involved 96 samples from 2479 populations based on the Simple Random Sampling technique and used a Likert scale questionnaire in collecting data. The results of the study show that 1) There is a relationship between media literacy of housewives in responding to hoax news via WhatsApp media based on a Sig value of 0.000 < ɑ 0.1. 2) Has a strong relationship with the Correlation Coefficient value of 0.536** and is included in a positive relationship, that is, when the media literacy of housewives is good, response to hoax news is also good, and when the media literacy of housewives is not good so responding to hoax news is also not good.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy of Ustadzah Oki Setiana Dewi da'wah on the Instagram account in increasing the morals of karimah followers. This approach uses descriptive qualitative research methods. This research involved informants from Ustadzah Oki Setiana Dewi's Instagram followers.The result of this research is that the da'wah strategy used by Ustadzah Oki Setiana Dewi on Instagram has succeeded in effectively shaping the character of karimah in his followers with inspiring, educational, and relatable content. A modern and creative approach through social media can be an effective tool in conveying religious messages. Ustadzah Oki Setiana Dewi applies strategies that blend with contemporary lifestyles, packaging da'wah information in a way that is relevant to her followers on Instagram. bond between religion and the social life of modern society. Positive interaction through Instagram also allows for a strong relationship between speakers and followers.
