Abstract

Wind energy is an emerging and popular source of clean energy due to its non-polluting nature and low cost. The efficient use of wind energy requires accurate and precise wind parameter measurements, which is where wind resource assessment (WRA) comes into play. The IoT and cloud-based systems have been applied to remote monitoring systems and provide crucial solutions for data acquisition, storage, and analytics in wind energy technology. This study aims to build a remote WRA system integrated with the Internet of Things. This study utilizes an Arduino Uno microcontroller, RK100-01 wind speed sensor, BMP280 temperature and pressure sensor, and SIM800L GPRS module to collect and transfer real-time data to the ThingSpeak cloud. The experiment was conducted at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia - Campus 3 BSD with the remote WRA system installed inside Stevenson screens to protect it from environmental conditions. Wind speed data is measured at a height of 10 meters, while air pressure and temperature data are measured at a height of 1.5 meters. Data retrieval utilizes two methods, viz. direct measurement every 15 minutes, and cloud-based retrieval every 30-second intervals. The study demonstrates that a remote WRA system integrated with IoT can measure, display, and upload three crucial parameters for assessing wind energy potential, namely wind speed, air pressure, and air temperature. This remote WRA system also provides flexibility in real-time data collection since it is accessible anytime and anywhere, thereby reducing the need for site visits during deployment.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 caused a decreased Revenue of Local Taxes and Retributions in Indonesia. In 2022, there will be a simplification for the types of Local Taxes and Retributions from Law Number 28 of 2009 to Law Number 1 of 2022 because there are too many types of Local Taxes and Retributions, which made monitoring difficult. This study aimed to analyze and compare Hotel Tax, Restaurant Tax, Billboard Tax, and Cleaning Retribution before and after the pandemic in Regencies/Cities of Aceh Province. Data analysis of the study used quantitative descriptive and comparative to compare the increased or decreased revenues between two samples before and after the pandemic. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks Test show that there is a significant difference in revenue from Hotel Tax and Billboard Tax before and after the pandemic. Revenue from Hotel Tax experienced a significant decrease, while Revenue from Billboard Tax experienced a significant increase. Meanwhile, there is no significant difference between from Revenue Restaurant Tax and Revenue from Cleaning Retribution before and after the Pandemic.

Abstract

Usaha kerajinan akrilik “Sekuntoem”, yang dipimpin oleh Saudari Santi di Medan, didirikan pada tahun 2021 dan dijalankan oleh satu orang. Meskipun rata-rata melayani 20 transaksi per bulan, Sekuntoem menghadapi tantangan persaingan yang mengharuskannya untuk meningkatkan brand awareness. Solusi yang disediakan adalah pengembangan website yang akan menawarkan fitur custom design bagi pelanggan. Fitur unik ini memungkinkan pelanggan untuk mendesain produk akrilik mereka sendiri. Dengan pendekatan rekayasa perangkat lunak dan paradigma prototyping, aktivitas yang terlibat meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, pengembangan wireframe, pembangunan prototipe, pengujian, dan implementasi, juga memberikan pelatihan kepada admin untuk menggunakan modul-modul website. Pemeliharaan website akan terus dilakukan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan pengembangan di masa depan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of price on consumer satisfaction of Shopee application users in Medan City. Today, the development of e-commerce has influenced people's lifestyles, allowing online shopping with convenience. Shopee as an e-commerce platform continues to grow, but it is important to understand customer expectations and fulfill their needs. This research explores the factors that influence e-commerce service quality and how to improve the shopping experience. This study combines the theories of customer satisfaction and service quality using Shopee Visitor Population Data 2022 in Medan City with a sample of 99. The results showed that product quality, price, and service together contribute positively and significantly to the consumer satisfaction of Shopee application users. This shows that Shopee can increase the level of customer satisfaction by focusing on product quality development, effective price management, and continuous application update efforts.
