Abstract

Database can also be interpreted as a data warehouse. The amount of data collected in the database can be processed to generate valuable knowledge for science. One popular and widely used technique for processing databases is data mining. Data mining is the process of extracting knowledge from large and complex data warehouse. Data mining encompasses various algorithm to generate knowledge, one of which is naïve bayes. The dataset used in this research, employing the naïve bayes algorithm, consists of attributes relevant to the purchase of used cars, such year, transmission, mileage, car condition, and brand. This research aims to produce patterns and additional knowledge for participants in the used car business to identify the supporting factors in purchasing used cars.

Abstract

A decision support system (DSS) is the definition of a procedural model of data processing and assisting management in making decisions. Computer-based decision support systems can improve decision-making ability to solve problems that appear structured or unstructured. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method can be used to solve the DSS problem. This method is one of the most sought-after optimal solutions among several other decision support system method options. The research was conducted at SMKN 1 West Jakarta which aimed to assist the school in selecting homeroom teachers based on the effectiveness of teachers in the learning process to students. The creation of this application is done through data collection, system design, system analysis and database design. The creation of this application program is developed using PHP, the database is MySQL. In running this application, input or alternative information is needed, namely the names of teachers, and the assessment criteria are professional values, pedagogic values, personality values, and social values. The process requirements needed are alternative data entry process, teacher data entry process and also criteria data. The result is a teacher report that is expected to help the principal to determine homeroom based on teacher achievement scores.

Abstract

Suzuki Radio Dalam is an automotive company operating in the automotive sector. They have been facing a challenge where sales data of spare parts has been accumulating without being effectively utilized or managed. The company has never employed data mining techniques to extract meaningful patterns or insights from this spare parts sales data. To address these issues, the researchers adopted the data mining technique known as the FP-Growth algorithm. The FP-Growth algorithm is a form of association algorithm within data mining. Association algorithms are utilized to uncover relationships and connections between variables present in a dataset. Through the application of the FP-Growth algorithm, data can be extracted through the construction of FP-Trees, which reveals insights into patterns of items purchased by customers. This method allows for the identification of frequently co-purchased items, enabling the company to devise marketing strategies aimed at boosting spare parts sales. The proposed solution involves creating a web-based platform to facilitate the FP-Growth algorithm calculations, particularly when dealing with large volumes of data. This web-based system was developed using PHP and utilizes a MySQL database. This data is then subjected to FP-Growth algorithm calculations and subsequently analyzed to generate association rules. These association rules hold valuable information about customer purchasing patterns. The implementation of this web mining solution streamlines the FP-Growth algorithm calculations, making it more manageable and efficient when dealing with substantial datasets. The resulting association rules derived from these calculations provide actionable insights for Suzuki's marketing strategies. By offering enticing promotions to customers based on the information gleaned from these association rules, the company aims to enhance spare parts sales.

Abstract

With current technological advances we can minimize or possibly prevent the effects of flooding by utilizing IoT (Internet of Things). On January 1, 2020 the volume of water in Cisadane overflowed which resulted in Panungnggang Barat Village being submerged by floods reaching 2.5 meters which had reached the roofs of houses, causing residents to flee their homes, look for medicines due to itching, and lose some of their assets. Panungnggang Barat Village currently does not have a tool to warn of flooding if at any time the Cisadane river overflows, therefore this research was made to make a flood early warning tool for residents to be vigilant if at any time the volume of water in the Cisadane river overflows into settlements. By focusing on research, observation, and interviews related to the matter being researched, researchers have observed and analyzed the problems in the Panungnggang Barat Village that there are no flood early warning devices, so residents are only guessing when the flood will come. From the problems that have been described, the researcher aims to create a flood early warning tool so that it can be useful for residents of Panungnggang Barat Village if at any time the water in the Cisadane River overflows, this tool will function as a warning to residents to be prepared for floods.

Abstract

The background of research is able to listed as How to design application Android based, How to implement the design of applications Creative Man, how to test applications based on Android Agile Scrum methods will be used to build this application. Scrum is a methode based on agile principles is focus on effective teamwork, incremental products, and iterating processes to achieve the end result. Scrum, according to Schwaber & Sutherland, is a framework that can handle complex and ever-changing problems. In addition, it is considered to have the ability to provide high-quality products that match the desires of innovative and productive users in MAN Creative's medium-sized business of building an sales system that can be accessed online rather than replacing it. The old system still using offline system. Plan of built new system hopefully can expand the market with android applications. Customers can easily get information about any product sold without having go to Man Creative store. With new online system, MAN Creative can easily provide information about any product, such as product name, price, etc. MAN Creative can be known by many people.. Analysis of sales transaction security issues. In order for more expeditions to be available in the future, couriers or expeditions must be present. In the process of product development, its appearance will be updated to provide more complete information, including new or additional types of products.

Abstract

Cultivating catfish is one of the popular fishery farming activities in Indonesia. Catfish is one of the many fish chosen for cultivation because it has a fast growth rate and can live in various air conditions. However, there are several obstacles or loss factors if not addressed quickly, such as if the air level occurs, changes in temperature conditions and also the level of air turbidity which is also not released is always reviewed regularly. This study uses a prototype method that uses system development from pre-existing systems, this writing covers the design and manufacture of hardware and software with the right detection development algorithm. Aims to produce or create a microcontroller-based system that has the ability to detect air level, temperature and air turbidity in ponds with the hope of being able to minimize the risk of losses caused by air conditions in catfish ponds. The system is equipped with an air level detector using an ultrasonic sensor, and is equipped with a DS18B20 sensor which can detect air temperature and a turbidity sensor which is used to detect the level of air turbidity and of course this system is also equipped with a microcontroller to process data from sensors used as input. The output of the air level monitoring system is an LED with red, yellow and green colors, as well as a buzzer as a marker of air level in catfish ponds. The monitoring system for temperature and also turbidity in water pools is a notification system using an I2C LCD that displays readings of sensor values. The monitoring tool has been successfully tested and is expected to be useful for increasing catfish farming results.

Abstract

Nilla Wedding Gallery is a service provider engaged in cosmetology and wedding management. During the run, existing customer data has never been managed optimally only limited to piles of data and has never used the data mining process to find patterns or information from service sales data to customers. Data Mining is a technique that processes or manages data into information. In this study the author uses the C4.5 algorithm method, the C4.5 method is used as an approach to generate a prediction model based on attributes relevant to customer satisfaction. Data obtained from a case study at Nilla Wedding Gallery was used to train and test the C4.5 model. As a form of this effectiveness, the author built a web mining system using the PHP programming language. The results showed that the C4.5 algorithm is effective in identifying factors that affect customer satisfaction, and is able to produce decisions that are beneficial for policy making by Nilla Wedding Gallery in improving service quality and achieving higher customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Finding information that is concealed in databases is referred to as data mining. Data mining is a process used to extract and find relevant information and related knowledge from numerous very big datasets using statistical, mathematical, artificial intelligence, and machine learning approaches. The steps involved in the data mining process start with the selection of data from the source data to the target data, followed by preprocessing to enhance the quality of the data, transformation, data mining, and stages of interpretation and assessment that result in new information. Organizing data sets into many groups through the process of clustering ensures that objects in one group share a lot in common and differ greatly from those in other groups. Data mining technique K-Means Clustering divides data into one or more clusters. RapidMiner is the program used in this data mining application, which uses the Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD) stage. According to this report, AIA Family First Protection, AIA Prolink, and AIA Life Secure are the three most popular insurance products. With the use of this research, PT. AIA Financial will be able to identify the most popular insurance product categories and market these products to the general public.

Abstract

The development of information technology has made it possible to collect and analyze large and complex data. In the context of higher education, information about student distribution patterns can be of added value for institutions to plan and manage their resources effectively. This research aims to design a web mining system that uses a clustering algorithm to grouping the distribution of students at ITB Ahmad Dahlan. In this study, we collected data from open web sources that are relevant to students, such as student profiles, academic preferences, and extracurricular activities. The data is then analyzed using a clustering algorithm to identify patterns and trends in student distribution. By using this approach, we hope to provide useful insights for educational institutions in planning infrastructure, academic programs, and student services.
