Abstract

Background: Osteoarthritis is a chronic joint disorder where there is a process of attenuation and disintegration of joint cartilage accompanied by bone growth and new cartilage in the joints. Patients with osteoarthritis occur at the age of 40-60 years; one of the roles of nurses in improving the quality of life of the elderly is to overcome health problems that commonly occur in the elderly. One of them is joint pain management due to osteoarthritis by using non-pharmacological therapy in the form of elderly exercises. Objective: Identify the influence of elderly gymnastics on changes in osteoarthritis pain in social institutions Tresna Werdha Budi Sejahtera Banjarbaru. Method: This study uses a quantitative method with experimental quasi with the research design used is a pretest-posttest one group design. Initial data collection before and after intervention. Results: Respondents who experienced knee ostearthritis pain before elderly exercise can be seen that most respondents have characteristics of moderate pain. The biggest complaint presentation was experiencing moderate pain, which was 30 people (100%) on the first day. Wilcoxon test results found the quality of knee osteoarthritis pain in the elderly before and after a significant compress. This is based on the p-value of 0.000, which means that there is an influence of elderly gymnastics on the reduction in the quality of knee osteoarthritis pain in the elderly in social care institutions because there is prosperity in Banjarbaru. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the effect of elderly gymnastic therapy to reduce osteoarthritis of knee pain suffered by the elderly.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Anemia merupakan masalah kesehatan yang menyebabkan penderitanya mengalami kelelahan, letih dan lesu sehingga akan berdampak pada kreativitas dan produktivitas. Berdasarkan data Riskesdas 2018, prevalensi anemia pada remaja sebesar 32 %, artinya 3-4 dari 10 remaja menderita anemia.Tujuan: Penelitian untuk mengulas gambaran pengetahuan dan sikap mahasiswa non Kesehatan Universitas Sari Mulia terhadap anemia dengan perilaku konsumsi makanan.Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kategorik dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian cross sectional study Analisis data menggunakan Analisis Univariat, Bivariat dan MultivariatHasil: Pada variabel pengetahuan responden tentang anemia yang memiliki pengetahuan baik sebanyak 23 orang (56%), variabel sikap responden dengan kategori baik tentang anemia berjumlah 18 orang (44%), variabel perilaku kebiasaan makan dengan kategori baik responden diperoleh sebanyak 20 orang (49%)Kesimpulan: terdapat mahasiswa yang mengalami anemia, maka diharapkan aktif mencari informasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anemia agar dapat berperilaku menjaga diri terhindar dari anemia dengan mengelola kebiasaan makan yang sehat. Background: Anemia is a health problem that causes sufferers to experience fatigue, tiredness and lethargy which will have an impact on creativity and productivity. Based on 2018 Riskesdas data, the prevalence of anemia in adolescents is 32%, meaning that 3-4 out of 10 adolescents suffer from anemia.Objective: Research to review the description of knowledge and attitudes of non-health students of Sari Mulia University towards anemia with food consumption behavior.Methods: The method used in this research is categorical descriptive research with the research design used in this research is cross sectional study Data analysis using Univariate, Bivariate and Multivariate Analysis.Results: In the variable knowledge of respondents about anemia who have good knowledge as many as 23 people (56%), the variable attitude of respondents with good categories about anemia amounted to 18 people (44%), the variable behavior of eating habits with good categories of respondents obtained as many as 20 people (49%).Conclusion: there are students who experience anemia, so it is hoped that they will actively seek information to increase their knowledge of anemia so that they can behave to protect themselves from anemia by managing healthy eating habits.
