Abstract

Introduction: CKD (Chonic Kidney Disease) is a gradual failure of kidney function that causes the accumulation of metabolic waste substances (uremic toxins), resulting in decreased kidney function and gradual loss of kidney function over time. Objectives: To determine the relationship between adherence, degree of hypertension and nutritional status with vitamin d deficiency in hemodialysis patients. Method: The population of this study were all patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy in room 1 and room 2 of the Avio Prima Ciledug Hemodialysis Clinic, collecting 30 people. Sampling technique in this research is using total sampling technique. The number of samples in this study were 30 respondents. The research instrument used an observation sheet. This research uses chi square analysis. Result: The results of the study on the value of adherence to vitamin D intake obtained p-value = 0.003. Blood Pressure obtained p-value = 0.045. Nutritional status obtained p-value = 0.047. Conclusion: there is a relationship between the factors of age, type. There is a relationship between adherence to vitamin D intake, pressure, nutritional status and vitamin D deficiency in chronic disease patients undergoing hemodialysis.

Abstract

Introduction: Spinal anesthesia is the main choice for cesarean section. However, spinal anesthesia can affect the occurrence of hypotension, bradycardia, apnea, inadequate breathing, and nausea/nausea, and vomiting. Aromatherapy with peppermint is one of the complementary therapies that can be an option to reduce the effects of nausea in Sectio Caesarea patients. Objectives: The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of peppermint therapy on the incidence of nausea in post-Sectio Caesarea patients. Method: The design used is a Quasi Experiment Design with a Non-Equivalent Control Group or Non-Randomized Group Pretest Posttest. The number of samples in this study was 30 respondents who were postoperative sectio caesarian patients in the recovery room of the Karya Bhakti Partiwi Hospital. The instrument of this study used an observation sheet. Statistical test using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and Mann Whitney U Test. Results: The results of statistical tests with the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test in the intervention group obtained a p-value = 0.000 or <0.05. While in the intervention group the value of the control group = 0.025 or < 0.05. Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is a decrease in the incidence of nausea after giving peppermint aroma therapy.

Abstract

Introduction: Kidney disease has a major effect on global health, both as a direct cause of global morbidity and mortality and as an important risk factor for cardiovascular disease of the heart and blood vessels. CKD is largely treatable so it deserves greater attention for decision-making for patients and families in undergoing a course of therapy. Objective: To determine the relationship between lifestyle and family support with routine hemodialysis in patients with chronic kidney failure at Ciawi Hospital, Bogor. Methods: The research design used is a descriptive correlation. The research population was all respondents in Ciawi Hospital, Bogor. By using a total sampling technique of 72 people. The instrument used a questionnaire and the analytical tool used was the Spearman rank correlation. Results: The results showed that most of the patients with chronic kidney failure who underwent hemodialysis in the Hemodialysis room at the Ciawi Hospital, Bogor were male as many as 38 respondents (52.8%), ages 44-45 as many as 34 respondents (47.2%), SMA education was 46 respondents (63.9%), and occupations with other categories were 27 respondents (37.5%). The pattern of life with routine hemodialysis implementation at Ciawi Hospital Bogor is good for as many as 49 respondents (68.1%) and there is family support for as many as 48 respondents (66.7%) so there is a relationship between lifestyle and family support with hemodialysis routines at Ciawi Hospital, Bogor with P-value = 0.016 and OR 9.4 for lifestyle relationships, while P-value = 0.022 and OR 10.1 for family support. Conclusion: There is a relationship between lifestyle and family support with the implementation of hemodialysis in patients with chronic kidney failure in the Hemodialysis Room of Ciawi Hospital, Bogor Regency. Lifestyle has a greater influence on the suitability of the hemodialysis schedule.
