Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the influence of thriving at work and perceived overqualification on employee career outcomes, which is seen from career satisfaction and turnover intention. This study is carried out on service company employees in Bandung, West Java. The sampling technique in this study is carried out by simple random sampling, with the final number of samples of 110 respondents. The data collection is done by distributing questionnaire using online platforms to the respondents. The questionnaire items used is measured using 5-point Likert scale. The data is then processed using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 23 software. The results of this study indicate that thriving at work positively influences employee career satisfaction, and negatively influences turnover intention. On the other hand, perceived overqualification negatively influences career satisfaction and positively influences turnover intention.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between authentic leadership, psychological capital, and affective commitment to teaching staff at three universities located in Bandung, West Java. This research was conducted with quantitative methods, with the determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique. The number of samples in this study were 135 respondents. The data in this study were collected by distributing questionnaires through Google Forms to respondents, as measured by a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate several findings. First, authentic leadership has been shown to have a positive effect on psychological capital and affective commitment. Then, psychological capital is also proven to be able to influence the affective commitment of teaching staff in Bandung City, West Java. This study emphasizes the importance of leadership style in influencing individuals to bring out their positive attitudes at work, which is characterized by psychological capital and affective commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of subjective norms and self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intentions. The subjects of this study were private students in the city of Bandung majoring in the faculty of economics and business who joined the HIPMI organization (Association of Young Indonesian Entrepreneurs). The sample in this study was the entire population of 100 students who had met the requirements. Data was collected by means of interviews and direct questionnaires to respondents, and path analysis was used in this study to analyze the data statistically. The subjective norm and efficacy factors support the entrepreneurial intention. The majority of students also have the intention to become entrepreneurs. This intention is because students have received entrepreneurship courses and environmental influences on the higher education HIPMI organization.

Abstract

Employee performance is one aspect that the company pays full attention to, because of its impact on the sustainability of the company itself. This study aims to see the influence of organizational culture and leadership style in the organization on the performance of employees of PT. Kahatex is located in Bandung Regency, West Java. This study uses a quantitative approach, with a sample of 70 employees. Researchers distributed questionnaires to employees to obtain primary data, and the data obtained were then processed using multiple regression analysis. This study indicate that organizational culture and leadership style variables have a significant positive effect on employee performance. The findings of this study can be a recommendation for leaders or managers to improve the performance of their employees. Companies need to pay attention to the culture that exists in the organization, as well as choose the appropriate leadership style, so that employee performance can increase.

Abstract

Turnover the intention of hospital employees, especially nurses, is currently a challenge that is of concern. This study uses a quantitative approach to determine the factors that influence the high turnover intention of nurses. Specifically, the researcher considers the role of job stress and work-family conflict as antecedents of turnover intention. Data were taken through a survey by distributing questionnaires to respondents, with a total sample of 90 nurses. Each item in the questionnaire was measured using a Likert scale with five points. The data obtained were processed using multiple regression analysis with software. The results of this study confirmed the hypothesis proposed by the researcher, that job stress and work-family conflict felt by nurses could increase their intention or desire to leave their job at the hospital. The findings of this study can be used as a consideration and reference for managers, leaders, and supervisors in hospitals to pay attention to the conditions of stress and work-family conflict that are being experienced by employees.

Abstract

Kolaborasi merupakan proses bekerjasama para pihak untuk menghasilkan ide, gagasan dan atau pemecahan masalah guna mencapai visi bersama. Menjadi suatu keniscayaan bahwa di era sekarang ini, kolaborasi/kerjasama bisnis telah menjadi perhatian banyak pihak, karena kolaborasi merupakan salah satu aspek dari pertumbuhan iklim usaha, termasuk didalamnya bagi para pelaku UMKM untuk meningkatkan pendapatan, kapabilitas usaha serta daya saing. Seperti diketahui, bahwa dengan segala keterbatasan yang ada pada pelaku UMKM, namun disisi lain juga memiliki keunggulan. Pelaku UMKM di Indonesia juga memiliki peluang untuk menampilkan keunggulan UMKM. Peluang tersebut adalah dengan penerapan digital marketing, serta membangun kerjasama dengan para pihak. Para pihak tersebut diantaranya adalah unsur pemerintahan/kelembagaan yang diwakili oleh Kementerian Koperasi, Kementerian Perdagangan, Kementerian Pariwisata, Kementerian Pendidikan, Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informasi dan lain-lain. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan edukasi mengenai kolaborasi dan cara berkolaborasi serta digital marketing untuk keberlanjutan usaha para UMKM binaan Kadin Kota Bandung. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupa pelatihan tentang kolaborasi dan digital marketing. Hasil yang didapat dari kegiatan ini para UMKM binaan Kadin Kota Bandung mengerti cara menjalin kerjasama dengan beberapa pihak dimulai dari sesama pelaku UMKM, serta semakin mengerti dan mampu menggunakan digital marketing untuk keberlanjutan usahanya.
