Abstract

Photovoltaic power plants have drawbacks, one of which is that it is very dependent on the ntensity of sunlight and the surface temperature of the solar panels. In this case it takes a battery to be able to cope with photovoltaic at night.The battery has a function as a means of storing electrical power generated by photovoltaic and supplying power to the load. Therefore, we need a tool that ican regulate the power generated from several solar panels to fulfill the required load power.n this test the Arduino Mega2560 icontrol device was used with the PID control method as the brain of the design that regulates the output power of the solar panel so that it remains stable in fulfilling the load power. From the results of this test, the results show that this tool can share power and regulate ipower ias needed with pid control using the Trial and Error method in each solar panel with a percentage of 60% and 40% in stable power with set point i 1 14V and set point 2 10V with.the maximum power of 10mW obtained from each solar panel is then used as a graph ifrom ithe test results.

Abstract

The charity box is a place to collect alms from the community. Currently, the charity box that we often encounter in the money counting system in the charity box is still required to open the lid of the charity box and count manually. Therefore, a system is needed that can recognize banknote denominations and automatically calculate the nominal amount of banknotes that go into the charity box. The aim of this research is to design and create a system for reading nominal banknotes using a Logitech C3010 webcam and monitoring the number of banknotes using the MIT App Inventor application. In this research, the author uses the template matching method to identify the nominal value of banknotes that go into the charity box. Based on the test results, the template matching method can be implemented to detect nominal banknotes with a threshold value of >0.40 and an effective distance of 20-30 cm so that the nominal money produced is detected very well.

Abstract

In this research, the Smart Garden IoT system is implemented to enhance the efficiency of strawberry plant management, utilizing Ds18B20 temperature sensor, soil moisture sensor, water pH sensor, and a Flowmeter. Real-time data will be transmitted to the Blynk software for analysis. The research methodology involves the installation of sensors and the use of an ESP32 microcontroller in the strawberry cultivation area. The objectives of the study include improving monitoring and control, as well as supporting timely and efficient irrigation and fertilization of strawberry plants. This smart garden system operates according to predefined time settings and is also adjusted based on soil moisture sensor readings. The watering schedule is set for morning, afternoon, and evening. However, if the soil moisture remains around 80-90%, watering will be withheld. The research conclusion supports the concept of Smart Garden as an innovative solution to enhance efficiency in plant care through IoT technology

Abstract

Blinds or curtains serve to provide privacy, protect the room from direct sunlight, and prevent outside views. In addition, curtains can also protect the skin from the risk of hyperpigmentation due to excessive sun exposure. This research system develops an iot-based automatic curtain opening and closing tool, using the bylnk application to monitor and be able to open and close the curtains automatically, with nodemcu esp8266 as a curtain control system and ldr sensor and ic rtc as additional input to monitor the curtains. The results of the development of this tool show that the system is developing and functioning properly to be able to monitor and be able to open and close the curtains through the blynk application contained in the smartphone and automatically through the rtc ic whose time has been determined.

Abstract

Some of the main causes of respiratory and cardiovascular diseases are due to bad air pollution. Not all areas have SPKUAs, such as Sungailiat, Bangka Belitung. Areas with worse air pollution are prioritized for SPKUA installation. In addition, cost and complex installation factors are barriers to SPKUA distribution. To overcome these problems, this research developed an air quality monitoring device IoT-based that is more efficient, easy to use, portable and IoT-based. This research aims to create an IoT-based air quality monitoring device using ESP32, MQ sensor, DHT22 sensor and dust sensor. The process includes designing, and creating an air quality monitoring program, designing electrical and hardware then making and integrating software and hardware, and testing the air quality monitoring device. That this IoT-based air quality monitoring device can detect and measure important factors for air quality. Overall, the goal of this project to provide an efficient and effective air quality monitoring solution has been achieved. The system can provide real-time air condition information, which is highly beneficial for environmental, health, and public safety purposes.

Abstract

Technological advancements in the industry and electrical fields have led to almost all equipment requiring electricity. Electric motors,which convert electrical energy into mechanical energy,are continuously evolving to enhance efficiency and performance. BrushlessDC (BLDC) motors are one type of motor used in various industries due to their high efficiency, high torque, and low noise. Unlike conventional DC motors, BLDC motors use electronic commutation, resulting in smoother rotation and lower noise. The purpose of this research is to design and develop a BLCD Motor Trainer Kit that includes key components such as the BLCD motor, microcontroller control (Arduino Uno), Programming, interfacing. This model allows students to understand the basic concepts, working principles, and applications of BLCD motors in real-time, as well as develop practical skills. The integration of this Trainer Kit into the curriculum is expected to enhance students’ understanding of Brushless DC motors.
