Abstract

PT. PT. Bela Krosea Nusantara is a company engaged in the processing of fishery products. Fishery products produced produce several products, one of which is frozen fish (Frozen Fish). The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of raw materials needed for future raw material planning using the Material Riquirement Planing (MRP) Method in order to minimize inventory costs. At the end of aggregate planning, the chosen strategy is Mixed with a total cost of Rp. 1,379,637,000.00. In the Requirement Planing (MRP) Method with the Lot Sizing technique, it is known that all raw materials use the Lot For Lot method with a total cost, namely Fish Jacket Rp. 51,000,000, Swangi Fish Rp. 51,000,000, Plastic PE Rp. 26,4000,000, and Master Carton 26,4000,000. By using the MRP method, PT. Bela Krosea Nusantara can save inventory costs of Rp. 30,960,000 from the previous inventory cost of Rp. 185760000. So the efficiency obtained by PT. Bela Krosea Nusantara is 20% of the previous inventory cost. PT. Bela Krosea Nusantara Merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang pengolahan hasil perikanan. Hasil perikanan yang di produksi menghasilkan beberapa produk, salah satunya yaitu ikan beku (Frozen Fish). Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui jumlah bahan baku yang di perlukan untuk perencanaan bahan baku yang akan datang menggunakan Metode Material Riquirement Planing (MRP) agar dapat meminimumkan biaya persediaan. Pada tahahap perencanaan agregat, strategi yang terpilih adalah Mixed Strategy dengan total biaya yaitu Rp. 1.379.637.000,00. Pada Metode Requirement Planing (MRP) dengan teknik Lot Sizing di ketahui bahwa semua bahan baku menggunakan metode Lot For Lot dengan total biaya yaitu Ikan Jacket Rp. 51.000.000, Ikan swangi Rp. 51.000.000, Plastik PE Rp. 26.4000.000, dan Master Carton 26.4000.000. Dengan menggunakan metode MRP Maka PT. Bela Krosea Nusantara dapat menghemat biaya persediaan sebesar Rp. 30.960.000 dari biaya persediaan sebelumnya yaitu Rp. 185760000. Jadi efisiensi yang di dapatkan oleh PT. Bela Krosea Nusantara yaitu 20% dari biaya persediaan sebelumnya.

Abstract

CV. Berlian Abadi is a manufacturing industry company that produces roof tiles and paving. Currently, the company often experiences a shortage of raw materials, resulting in a delay in the production process. This problem causes very large inventory costs. The purpose of this study is to find the most optimal method for the company with the calculation of "Material Requirement Planning (MRP)", to find out the amount of safety stock, reorder point and to plan raw material inventory. Based on the calculation using the selected method, at the demand forecasting stage the selected method for roof tiles and paving is the Exponential Smoothing a = 0.9 method while in aggregate planning the selected strategy is Level Strategy with a total cost of Rp. 187,200,000. In the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method with the lot sizing technique, it is known that the cement item uses the Economic Order Quantity lot sizing method with a total cost of Rp. 284,897,300, sand uses the Economic Order Quantity lot sizing method with a total cost of Rp. 62,866,107. From the research results, it was found that the smallest total cost of inventory was Rp. 347,763,407.. CV. Berlian Abadi merupakan perusahaan industri manufaktur yang memproduksi genteng dan paving. Saat ini perusahaan sering mengalami kekurangan bahan baku sehingga mengakibatkan terhambatnya proses produksi. Dari permasalahan tersebut menimbulkan biaya persediaan yang sangat besar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mencari metode yang paling optimal untuk perusahaan dengan perhitungan ‘’Material Requirement Planning (MRP)’’, mengetahui jumlah dari safety stock, reorder point serta merencanaakan persediaan bahan baku. Berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan metode yang dipilih, pada tahapan peramalan permintaan metode yang terpilih untuk genteng dan paving adalah metode Exponential Smoothing a=0,9 sedangkan pada perencanaan agregat strategi yang terpilih adalah Level Strategy dengan total biaya yaitu Rp. 187.200.000. Pada metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP) dengan teknik lot sizing diketahui bahwa item semen menggunakan metode lot sizing Economic Order Quantity dengan total biaya yaitu Rp.284.897.300, pasir menggunakan metode lot sizing Economic Order Quantity dengan total biaya yaitu Rp. 62.866.107. Dari hasil penelitian didapatlan bahwa total biaya yang paling kecil persediaam adalah sebesar Rp. 347.763.407.
