Abstract

Social skills are essential skills that are necessary for success in life, both at school, at work, and in society. Social skills include the ability to communicate, collaborate, solve problems, and adapt. The social interaction learning model is a learning model that emphasizes the interaction between the student and the educator and the student with the other students. Research has shown that social interaction learning models are effective in improving the social skills of pupils. A study conducted by Johnson and Johnson (1999), Suherman (2012), Wulandari (2013), Lestari (2014), Sugiyono (2013), Hamalik (2007), Arsyad (2008), Sa’ud (2011), found that pupils participating in cooperative learning have higher social skills than pupils who do not participate in co-operative learning. To improve the effectiveness of social interaction learning models, educators need to pay attention to some of the following: Educators need to have a good understanding of the theories underlying the learning model of social interaction. Educators should have the necessary skills to manage the classroom effectively. Teachers need to provide support and guidance to learners throughout the learning process. The social interaction learning model is one of the most effective learning approaches to developing the social skills of students. This approach can be applied to a wide range of subjects, both at primary, secondary, and upper school levels.

Abstract

ABSTRACT   Instructional analysis is a process for studying and evaluating a learning process. Instructive analysis can be performed for a variety of subjects, including English for middle school. The purpose of this instructional analytics is to determine the effectiveness of the English language learning process for junior high and junior high. This instructive analysis is carried out using qualitative descriptive methods. The data collected is observation data, interviews, and documentation. The results of the analysis showed that the process of learning English in the 9th grade was not fully effective. This is evidenced by a number of factors, including: (1) excessive and dense content; (2) less varied learning methods; (3) insufficient learning facilities; and (4) a lack of student learning motivation. Based on the results of the analysis, it is recommended that teachers of English for secondary and secondary education in the ninth grade do some of the following: (1) simplify the lesson material; (2) use more varied methods of learning; (3) improve the learning facility; and (4) improve student learning motivation.   Keywords: instructional analysis, English, Grade IX

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan efektivitas strategi pembelajaran. Studi literatur ini dilakukan dengan meninjau berbagai sumber terpercaya, seperti jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan laporan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran yang tepat dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, motivasi belajar siswa, keterampilan berpikir kritis, keterampilan memecahkan masalah, keterampilan bekerja sama, dan kreativitas siswa. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran antara lain keterampilan guru, karakteristik siswa, karakteristik materi pembelajaran, ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana, dan dukungan dari pihak sekolah.   Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Strategi Pembelajaran, Efektivitas, Hasil Belajar, Motivasi Belajar, Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Keterampilan Memecahkan Masalah, Keterampilan Bekerja Sama, Kreativitas
