Abstract

The use of media in the learning process is a crucial thing that a teacher needs to pay attention to. Learning media can help students understand the material being taught. Nowadays, there are many applications available that teachers can use to improve the learning process in the classroom. Kahoot is an application that can be an interesting learning medium and can improve student learning outcomes. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the influence of the Kahoot application on student learning outcomes. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach because the data in this research is in the form of numbers and analysis uses statistics. Meanwhile, the type of research used is research with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This research uses a pre-test so that the effect of the Kahoot application can be known with certainty after a final test (post test). The data collection techniques used in this research are test, observation and documentation methods. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the Kahoot application learning media can have a positive influence on students, namely increasing their learning outcomes before and after using the Kahoot application in science subjects.
