<![CDATA[Artikel ini berpendapat bahwa konsep damai sangat relevan dalam perspektiflslam yang dapat dilacak melalui tiga pandangan. Pertama, secara ontologi, manusia harus damai untuk muslihun (perbaikan) dan mukmin (rasa persaudaraan). Kedua, secara epistemologi, upaya damai dilakukan melalui tiga cara yaitu perdamaian, rekonsiliasi dan pengampunan, dan perjanjian damai. Terakhir, secara aksiologi, hakikat damai adalah untuk mencegah perpecahan antarumat beragama, mempererat tali persaudaraan, dan menegakkan keadilan.Banyak artikel yang sudah membahas tentang damai dalam perspektif Islam, namun belum ada yang menjelaskan secara komperehensif dengan menggunakan metode ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini hadir untuk memberikan pandangan baru dalam menjelaskan relevansi damai dalam perspektiflslam. Selain itu, artikel inijuga menemukan bahwa konsep damai tidak hanya relevan dalam perspektiflslam namun juga selaras dengan perspektif Barat.This article argues that the concept ofpeace is highly relevant in the Islamic perspective that can be traced through three views. First, ontologically, human must be peaceful for muslihun (repair) and mukmin (sense of brotherhood). Second, epistemologically, peaceful efforts are made through three ways namely peace, reconciliation and forgiveness, and peace agreements. Finally, axiologically, the essence ofpeace is to prevent the division between religious people, tighten the ropes of brotherhood, and uphold justice. Many articles have talked about peace in an Islamic perspective, but no one has explained comprehensively using ontology, epistemology, and axiology methods. lherefore, this article is present to provide a new view in explaining the relevance ofpeace in an Islamic perspective. In addition, this article alsofinds that the concept ofpeace not only relevant in the perspective ofIslam but also harmony with Western perspectives.]]>
