Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study are : 1) understand the effect of learning mathematics using CTL method and PBL on student achievement, 2) understand the effect of the creativity of students on student achievement, 3) understand the interaction between CTL and PBL method with the creativity of students in learning mathematics on achievement student learning. This study is an experiment, conducted in February and July 2014, the population this research are students of SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Ngawi with sample of eighth grade school year 2013/2014. Class VIIIB using learning Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) methods and VIIIC class teaching Problem Based Learning (PBL) methods. The collection of data through tests of cognitive achievement, affective questionnaire, questionnaire creativity.  The hypothesis was tested with a two way ANOVA. From the data analysis it be concluded that : 1)There is the influence of learning mathematics using CTL method and PBL on student achievement. 2) There the creativity of students on student achievement. 3) There is no interaction between CTL and PBL method with the creativity of students in learning mathematics on achievement student learning.Keywords:    Learning Mathematics, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Problem Based Learning (PBL), Creativity. Cubes and beams. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk : 1) mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran matematika menggunakan metode CTL dan PBL terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, 2) mengetahui pengaruh kreativitas siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, 3) mengetahui interaksi antara metode CTL dan PBL dengan kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimen, dilakukan pada bulan Februari hingga Juli 2014. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Ngawi dengan sampel seluruh kelas VIII tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Kelas VIIIB menggunakan metode pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dan kelas VIIIC menggunakan metode pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Pengumpulan data melalui tes prestasi kognitif, angket afektif, angket kreativitas. Hipotesis diuji dengan anava dua jalan. Dari analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa : 1) Terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran matematika menggunakan metode Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dan Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. 2) Terdapat pengaruh kreativitas siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. 3) Tidak ada interaksi antara metode CTL dan PBL dengan kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika terhadap prestasi belajar siswa.Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran Matematika, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Problem Based Learning (PBL), Kreativitas.
