Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh motivasiberjilbab dengan psychological well being dan sejauh mana kontribusi aspekaspekmotivasi berjilbab yang mempengaruhi psychological well being padamahasiswi di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember.Penelitian ini melibatkan 84 mahasiswi dengan karakteristik, yaitu berjeniskelamin perempuan, mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas MuhammadiyahJember yang masih aktif, berusia 18-40 tahun. Teknik pengambilan sampelmenggunakan teknik random sampling.Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa skala, yaituskala motivasi berjilbab yang terdiri dari 34 item (α = 0,867) dan skalapsychological well being yang terdiri dari 40 item (α = 0,902). Analisis datamenggunakan metode analisis regresi sederhana.Hasil pengujian hipotesis pertama terbukti, hasil analisis regresisederhana menunjukkan hasil = 0,349 dengan p= 0,002 (p < 0.05) yangmenunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi berjilbab denganpsychological well being.Efektifitas regresi menunjukkan pengaruh motivasi berjilbab sebesar12,2% terhadap psychological well being, sedangkan 87,8 % dipengaruhi olehfaktor lain. Hasil pengujian hipotesis yang kedua kurang terbukti karenakontribusi tertinggi pada aspek motivasi berjilbab adalah ingin mempercantikdiri dengan prosentase sebesar 35,88%

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of Self Regulated Learning for higt school student “X” in Jember during the pandemic. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects were high school students with a sample of 166 students. The technique used is random sampling using google form. The results of the validity of the Self-Regulated Learning scale are between 0.257 to 0.695 with a reliability value of 0.801. Based on the category, the Self Regulated Learning of higt school student "X" is still in the high category. Judging from the aspect, the highest aspect of metacognitive is 43.98%, while the lowest aspect of motivation is 35.54%. Demographically, it can be seen that female students have higher Self-Regulated Learning while boys have lower. In addition, class XII students and students majoring in science seem to have higher Self-Regulated Learning. This research still has limitations. Further researchers can increase the number of research samples and can use qualitative methods in order to provide a more detailed picture.

Abstract

The process of completing the thesis of bachelor faced by students often causes stress that affects their welfare which is called subjective well-being. One of the factors that influence the subjective well-being of individuals is the personality tendency factor. This study discusses the relationship between neurotic tendencies and subjective well-being. Participants in this study were students of the Faculty of Psychology, University of X who were working on a thesis. The type of research used in this research is correlational quantitative research between two variables using a neurotic tendency scale and a subjective well-being scale. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between neurotic tendencies and subjective well-being. The relationship between neurotic tendencies and subjective well-being showed a significant negative correlation (r = -0.221, p = 0.016). The lower the neurotic tendency, the higher the subjective well-being. The higher aspect of being owned by students in subjective well-being is affective evaluation, which is 41.5%.

Abstract

Children with intelectual dissability often experience obstacles in their social skills. This will affect the development of children, especially those related to relationships with other people which are feared to cause impacts such as loneliness and isolation. This study aims to  train childrens’s social skills with group play therapy. Group play therapy is predicted to improve children’s social skills because it involves group activities. The approach in the research used is a qualitative approach with a casestudy reasearch method with single subject. The data colletion process was carried out using interviews, observation and documentation. The subject in this study was a child with mild mental retardation. The results showed that group play therapy can improve social skills in children with mild mental retardation which involves interaction with peers and participation in playgroups.

Abstract

Instastory is a feature in the Instagram application which is widely used by users of the application, one of which is students. Generally, students fall into the category of early adulthood where individual self-development is at its peak and they have a high sense of competition. Sometimes through Instagram stories students use other people to gain an understanding of themselves. Social Comparison is a process of self-comparison carried out by individuals with other individuals. Individuals compare themselves because these individuals need external standards obtained from other people so that it will produce an assessment within the individual. This research aims to find out about the social comparison behavior of students who use the Instagram story feature on the Instagram application. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive analysis. The population in this research is students who use the Instagram story feature in Jember Regency with a total sample of 349 students. The scale used is INCOM (Iowa Netherlands Comparison Orientation Scale) which has been translated into Indonesian by Amelia (2019) (11 items; α= 0.793). The research results show that students tend to carry out social comparisons. If we look at both ability and opinion, both show a high category level. Through Instagram stories, students tend to make social comparisons with their peers in terms of lifestyle, wealth, personal achievements and outfits.

Abstract

Problem solving is a search for a solution carried out by individuals using various methods to solve the problems being faced. Meanwhile, self-efficacy is an individual's self-confidence related to one's ability to complete the tasks or problems being faced by the individual. This type of research is quantitative. The respondents in this research were final students who were working on their thesis at the Faculty of Psychology, UM Jember. The results of this research show that there is a significant influence between the self-efficacy variables and problemsolving abilities where the sig. 2-tailed 0.000 < 0.05 means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means there is a significant influence between self-efficacy and problemsolving abilities. The variable contribution of 0.935 as seen from R square can be interpreted to mean that self efficacy has a contribution effect of 93.5% on variable Y and the other 6.5% can be influenced by other factors outside of variable habits, sense of security, economy, uncertainty, and perception (Rinawati, 2011).
