Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan perangkat rural tourism yang layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran biologi dilihat dari aspek materi/ isi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan kegrafisan. (2) mengetahui pengaruh penerapan produk perangkat rural tourism dalam meningkatkan high order thinking skills, (3) mengetahui kualitas penerapan produk perangkat rural tourism dalam menanamkan life skills. (4) mengetahui kelayakan dan kesesuaian Perangkat kegiatan rural tourism dengan prinsip-prinsip rural tourism dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian pengembangan perangkat rural tourism ini menggunakan model 4-D (define, design, develop, dan disseminate) yang dikemukakan oleh Thiagarajan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) perangkat rural tourism yang disusun layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran biologi dilihat dari aspek materi/ isi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan kegrafisan oleh dosen ahli, praktisi, dan peer reviewer, (2) pengaruh penerapan perangkat rural tourism yang disusun mampu meningkatkan high order thinking skills yang ditunjukkan dari gain standar, uji coba terbatas yang diperoleh sebesar 0,72 (kategori tinggi) dan effect size 2,85 serta pada uji coba luas diperoleh gain standar sebesar 0,7 (kategori tinggi) dan effect size 3,94, (3) kualitas penerapan perangkat rural tourism yang disusun mampu menanamkan life skills, pada uji coba terbatas menunjukkan 76,04% dan pada uji coba luas 85%, hal ini berarti siswa memiliki kecakapan hidup (Life Skills) yang sangat baik, (4) perangkat rural tourism 100% dinyatakan layak dan sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip rural tourism. AbstractThis study was aimed to: (1) to produce a rural tourism package as an alternative of biology learning resources in terms of the material/content, language, presentation, and graphics components, (2) the effect of a rural tourism package to improve high order thinking skills of the concepts, (3) the quality of a rural tourism package to embed life skills of the concepts, and (4) the feasibility and suitability of the rural tourism package with the principles of rural tourism. The development of rural tourism package used the model of 4-D (define, design, develop, and disseminate) proposed by Thiagarajan. The results of this study indicate: (1) the rural tourism package is considered very good in terms of material/content, presentation, linguistics, and graphics components by faculty experts, practitioners, and peer-reviewers, (2) the application of rural tourism package is able to improve the high order thinking skills, which is shown from the standard gain on limited experiment obtained as much as 0.72 (high category) and size effect of 2.88, and extended experiment obtained 0,7 (high category) and size effect of 3.94, (3) application of rural tourism package is capable of embed life skills in limited testing as much as 76.04 % and the extended experiment of 85% of students with life skills is excellent, and (4) the rural tourism package is feasible and suitable with the principles of rural tourism.

Abstract

Kota “sejuta bunga” Magelang memiliki potensi keanekaragaman tumbuhan antophyta. Namun, potensi tersebut belum dianalisis lebih lanjut dan diotimalkan sebagai sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran saintifik Biosistematika Tumbuhan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasi tumbuhan antophyta di Kota Magelang, dan menganalisis kelayakan potensinya sebagai sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran saintifik Biosistematika Tumbuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik. Identifikasi antophyta dilakukan dengan metode perbandingan gambar dan lanjutkan proses klasifikasi secara hierarkis. Sampel diambil dari setiap populasi tumbuhan yang memiliki persamaan perawakan dengan area observasi sepanjang 800 m di Taman Tanggul Kali Kota. Analisis kelayakan potensi sumber belajar dilakukan melalui expert judgement dengan instrumen angket skala Likert. Penelitian ini berhasil mengidentifikasi 35 spesies tumbuhan antophyta di Kota Magelang dan dapat diklasifikasikan menjadi 32 genus, 25 famili, 16 ordo, dan 2 kelas. Hasil analisis kelayakan sumber belajar memperoleh kategori baik (83,85%), sehingga potensi tersebut layak menjadi sumber belajar dalam kegiatan pembelajaran saintifik pada mata kuliah Biosistematika Tumbuhan.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the motivation and student scientific writing skill (SCWS) by applying the integration of Simas eric and Blended learning models. This study is a classroom action research method conducted in one of the classes in the biology education program for the National student scientific week (PIMNAS) project of biology education Program, Universitas Tidar. The results of the study were analyzed descriptively. The results showed an increase in students motivation and learning outcomes. Students learning motivation on average increased by 10.59% and SCWS on average increased by 33.28%. The results of this study can be an alternative reference for lecturers or educators as an effort to improve student learning motivation so that the learning outcomes obtained can increase. Therefore, the integration of Simas eric with google classroom can enhance students motivation and SCWS Subjects at the biology students.

Abstract

The identification and utilization of pteridophyta diversity in the Telomoyo mountain area in learning activities has not been implemented. On the other hand, Biology as a science subject needs to be presented through scientific learning to encourage the development of students' science process skills. The type of learning resource by utilization is the right type to be used in scientific learning. These learning resources are found mainly in nature. Based on this, this study aims to identify the diversity of pteridophyta in Mount Telomoyo and to analyze their feasibility as a source of Biology learning at the high school. This study uses a descriptive exploratory method. The observation plot was determined to be 2 meters wide from the right and left side  along the climbing route, using a purposive sampling technique. Analysis of learning resources using benchmarks by Djohar (1974). The results, there are 13 species of pteridophyta which can be classified into 12 genera, 10 families, 4 orders, and 2 divisions. Biology material that is appropriate for the application of learning resources is the Scope of Biology with a 75% suitability level. The results of the feasibility analysis of learning resources generally obtained a very feasible category (87%).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the stages of developing the Plant Biosystematics e-module with the 4-D model (four D model) and to analyze the effectiveness of the resulting Plant Biosystematics e-module in improving problem solving skills in students of the Tidar University Biology Education Study Program. The Plant Biosystematics course studies the description, adaptation, and classification of plants, both high and low levels. The research method used is the R&D Model. This model consists of 4 development stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The object of this research was 60 students of Tidar University Biology Education. The research instrument used was in the form of questionnaires and validation sheets by the validator. Based on data on Problem Solving skills 38, 3% chose the number 5 meaning that in this Plant Biosystematics e-module all 5 indicators have been fulfilled. Based on the development of the e-module by the validator, the results of the material were 80.5%, the presentation aspect was 54%, the linguistic aspect was 24%, and the graphic aspect was 34%. Based on the data above, the development of the Plant Biosystematics e-module can be used as a learning module that can improve their problem solving skills.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru biologi SMAN 5 Kota Magelang, diketahui bahwa kemampuan literasi sains dan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi virus masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi virus dan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap literasi COVID-19 pada siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu quasi-experiment dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini ditentukan dengan teknik random cluster yang terdiri dari 36 siswa kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelompok kontrol dan 36 siswa kelas X MIPA 2 sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini memperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 64,44 di kelas kontrol dan sebesar 54,58 di kelas eksperimen, sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 72,36 di kelas kontrol dan sebesar 82,36 di kelas eksperimen. Dimana dalam hal ini hasil rata-rata posttest di kelas X MIPA 2 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil rata-rata nilai posttest di kelas X MIPA 1. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji Quade’s Rank Analysis of Covariance memperoleh nilai p = 0,002 dan hasil uji lanjutan menggunakan uji BNT memperoleh nilai p = 0,013. Hasil rata-rata angket literasi COVID-19 sebelum diberi perlakuan sebesar 78% di kelas kontrol dan sebesar 79% di kelas eksperimen, sedangkan setelah diberi perlakuan sebesar 80% di kelas kontrol dan sebesar 83% di kelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran PjBL terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi virus dan literasi COVID-19 pada siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) menghasilkan produk video pembelajaran interaktif materi fungi yang layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas X SMA Assalam Tempuran; 2) mengetahui kelayakan pengembangan video pembelajaran interaktif materi fungi terhadap hasil pemahaman konsep siswa kelas X Biologi SMA Assalam Tempuran; dan 3) mengetahui keefektifan integrasi video pembelajaran interaktif dalam desain STAD terhadap hasil pemahaman konsep siswa kelas X Biologi SMA Assalam Tempuran. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Mix Method (R&D dengan model 4D dan Quasi Exsperiment). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: lembar wawancara, lembar validasi ahli, dan lembar tes. Analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji beda untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep menggunakan uji-t (independent sample t-test) serta uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil produk video pembelajaran interaktif layak digunakan dilihat dari hasil-validasi video pembelajaran interaktif materi fungi valid dan layak digunakan. Hasil validas-ahli materi secara keseluruhan memperoleh skor nilai rata-rata 62,5 dengan presentase sebesar 82 % dengan kategori “sangat layak’’. Hasil penilaian validasi ahli media secara keseluruhan memperoleh skor nilai rata-rata 60 dengan presentase sebesar 80 % dengan kategori “layak”. Pengaruh integrasi video pembelajaran interaktif dengan desain STAD dinyatakan berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas X SMA Assalam Tempuran dengan nilai uji-t (independent sample t-test) memperoleh signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar ,001 < 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan nilai N-Gain pemahaman konsep kelas eksperimen sebesar 42,2 % (dengan kategori sedang) lebih besar dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol sebesar 25,9% (dengan kategori rendah).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning model conducted via online (e-PjBL) on the concept understanding of evaluation in the biology learning. A quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent pre-test and post-test group design is chosen in this study. The research is carried out at the Biology Education Study Program of Universitas Tidar in March - June 2021. A total of 63 college students become the sample in this research which are divided into experimental class and control class. The instrument used to collect the data is in the form of a concept understanding test about the evaluation of biology learning. Then, the results of the data are analyzed by quantitative. The results show that there is no difference in the use of online Project-Based Learning models on the concept understanding of evaluation in biology learning. This is indicated by the results of hypothesis test which is 0.184 > 0.05. Meanwhile, the average N-Gain in the experimental class is 0.2083 which belongs to the ineffective category. Next, several factors become obstacles to the online Project-Based Learning that causes this learning model to be ineffective.

Abstract

The understanding of students' concepts of SMP Negeri 1 Kandangan on the material of the skeletal system is still low. This study aims to determine the effect of applying Android-based Augmented Reality laboratory coats to students with different academic abilities on understanding the concept of skeletal system material for students of SMP Negeri 1 Kandangan. This research is a quasi-experiment or quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population used in this study were all seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Kandangan. In contrast, the samples in this study were class VII A as the control class and class VII B as the experimental class, which would be treated as applying an Augmented Reality Android-based. The sample was determined using a purposive side technique. The ANCOVA test results show a significant difference in student's conceptual understanding of the skeletal system material between the control and the experimental, with a significance value or p of 0.006, which is <0.05. Meanwhile, the follow-up test results showed that the use of android-based Augmented Reality Laboratory Coat learning media significantly differed in understanding the concepts of seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Kandangan. So it can be concluded that the android-based Augmented Reality Laboratory Coat affects increasing the understanding of the concepts of students with different academic abilities at SMP Negeri 1 Kandangan as a learning medium on skeletal system material to provide a better visualization effect in observing bony structures in the passive motion system (bones).
