Abstract

Learning methods have an important role to the success of student understanding of the learning material presented. In learning methods it is required media in the form of learning applications that can be used to deliver learning materials. Learning applications can use smart mobile phones (HP) to ease and interest the learning process so that the learning objectives ca be achieved. With the launch of Android HP technology where day today, increasingly relatively cheap price so that many people can reach them, including for their children . One of the features that android open source and open-platform does not depend on the manufacturing / certain vendors so it can be used in a wide variety of vendors. Therefore, in this study Android HP was utilized to provide a learning material in space geometry of mathematics that teach how to calculate the volume and area by applying the certain equations for various shapes . The trick is to embed an application program that has been made into HP. With the success of making the media application it is expected to help elementary school students to be more pleasure and easier to memorize mathematic formulas of the learning materials. By using this media through HP, students can learn anywhere, anytime and in any atmosphere.

Abstract

Information system to diagnose diseases with fever symptom using expert sys-tem based on SMS (source massage service). Computer is a electronic instrument which is very needed for data processing in order to provide information fast and accurately. One of the computer application is used by health expert to make a system to deliver information of diagnose disease result based on consultation data from a patient. Disea-se detection done by collection of symptom of every diseases which has a certainty factor (CF).The health information system is made using Delphi 6. Microsoft Access 2000, Mysql and SMS Gateway version 11.4. The investigation result shows that health infor-mation system can decide the same diseases different CF.This is because of source di-seases having the same symptom with an another diseases . The CF is obtained from the calculation between CF symptom and CF expert system. The access of the information is done by SMS medium with SMS Gateway connecting the computer with terminal hand phone.

Abstract

This paper describes a simulation of coreless transformer design using Vizimag which is a software application tool for computation based on finite element method. The objective of this research is to study the effect of the coreless transformer parameters through the secondary output voltage such that it is hoped the optimal design to be achieved. Method is done by determining parameters which affect to coreless transformer such as frequency and coupling coefficient as variable to be simulated. Primer of transformer has diameter and height of solenoid of 50 cm and 30 cm with 11 winding, input voltage of 20 kV where as secondary of transformer has diameter and height of solenoid of 194 cm and 40 cm with 970 winding, these all are determined as constant parameters. The results of simulation show that the placement of primer solenoid in the secondary solenoid affects deeply to secondary voltage and to coupling coefficient. In addition frequency affects deeply to secondary voltage where by increasing the frequency it will increase secondary voltage until reaching optimum voltage. In position of primer solenoid in the centre of secondary solenoid and frequency higher than 90 kHz, the optimum simulation design of coreless transformer is achieved which are secondary voltage of 489 kV, coupling coefficient of 28,4%, and overall power efficiency of 0,71%.
