Analisis Faktor Infestasi Pediculus Humanus Capitis pada Santriwati Pondok Pesantren Martapura Theory Planned Behavior

Abstract

Introduction: Pediculus humanus capitis, also known as head lice, is a disease that is still categorized as an overlooked disease, and is still commonly found throughout the world, especially in developing and poor countries. The purpose of this study was to determine the causal factors for the incidence of pediculus humanus capitis in female students based on Planned Behavior Theory. Methods: Descriptive cross sectional study design. The population was female studenyt aged 13-15 years in Darul Hijerah Puteri Martapura Banjar Regency, in February 2019 which amounted to 891 junior high school students, a sample of 101 students were taken through simple random sampling technique. Results: The results of the study show that there were influences between behavioral beliefs on intention with sig = 0.000, normative beliefs against intetion with sig = 0.000, and self-control beliefs on intention with sig = 0.000, and environmental factors on intention with sig value = 0.000. Conclusions: behavior prevention of pediculus humanus capitis can be done by paying attention to the belief behavior factor, making a clean living by not lending goods and personal access, normative beliefs, providing health education to boarding schools, belief control factor by screening, intention with giving health education to students so that students have strong intentions so that they can practice the behavior of preventing infestation of pediculus humanus capitis. Keywords: factors; pediculus humanus capitis; female student; theory of planned behavior ABSTRAK Pendahuluan: Pediculus humanus capitis atau dikenal dengan kutu rambut, merupakan penyakit yang masih dikategorikan sebagai penyakit yang terabaikan, dan masih banyak ditemukan diseluruh dunia, terutama di negara-negara berkembang dan miskin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor penyebab kejadian infestasi pediculus humanus capitis pada santriwati berbasis Theory of Planned Behavior. Metode: Desain penelitian deskriptif cross sectional. Populasi yaitu santriwati usia 13-15 tahun di Darul Hijerah Puteri Martapura Kabupaten Banjar yaitu pada bulan Februari 2019 yang berjumlah 891 santriwati Sekolah Menengah SMP, besar sampel 101 santriwati yang diambil melalui teknik simple random sampling. Hasil: hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh antara behavioral beliefs terhadap intention dengan nilai sig= 0,000, normative beliefs terhadap intetion dengan nilai sig= 0,000, dan control beliefs dari faktor diri sendiri terhadap intention dengan nilai sig= 0,000, dan dari faktor lingkungan terhadap intention dengan nilai sig= 0,000. Kesimpulan: peningkatan perilaku pencegahan pediculus humanus capitis dapat dilakukan dengan memperhatikan faktor behavior belief yaitu dengan melakukan hidup bersih dengan tidak meminjamkan barang dan aksespris pribadi, normative beliefs yaitu dengan memberikan pendidikan kesehatan kepada pihak pondok pesantren, faktor control belief yaitu dengan melakukan skrining, intention dengan memeberikan pendidikan kesehatan kepada santriwati sehingga santriwati memiliki niat yang kuat sehingga dapat mempraktikan perilaku pencegahan infestasi pediculus humanus capitis.
