<![CDATA[Kota Tasikmalaya memiliki banyak panti sosial seperti panti asuhan, panti jompo, dan panti jiwa yang berada dalam lingkup Dinas Sosial. Panti sosial ini kebanyakan dikelola oleh pihak swasta yang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan operasionalnya masih membutuhkan banyak bantuan baik dari pihak pemerintah, swasta maupun para donatur. Saat ini, informasi mengenai keberadaan panti sosial yang ada saat ini masih terbatas yaitu hanya berupa alamat tanpa dilengkapi dengan adanya peta yang menunjukan lokasi Panti Sosial. Hal ini mengakibatkan keberadaan panti sosial belum banyak diketahui oleh masyarakat luas sehingga para donatur kesulitan mengetahui informasi yang lengkap mengenai lokasi panti, kebutuhan donasi tiap panti, dan akses ke lokasi panti. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu sistem informasi geografis untuk pemetaan panti sosial di Kota Tasikmalaya yang mampu memberikan informasi secara lengkap bagi para donatur untuk dapat menyalurkan bantuannya secara cepat dan tepat. Sistem yang dibangun menggunakan metode SDLC dengan pendekatan berorientasi objek. Teknik perancangan sistem dengan UML dan perancangan basis data menggunakan ERD. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini yaitu dibangunnya sistem informasi geografis pemetaan panti sosial di Kota Tasikmalaya berbasis android yang dapat membantu para donatur dalam memilih panti sosial yang ada di Kota Tasikmalaya lengkap beserta informasi jarak, aksessibilitas, dan kebutuhan donasi dari tiap-tiap panti sosial tersebut Kata kunci : SIG, Panti Sosial, Android, Kota TasikmalayaTasikmalaya city has many social institutions such as orphanages, nursing homes, and soul homes that are within the scope of the Social Service. These social institutions are mostly managed by the private sector which to fulfill their operational needs still requires a lot of assistance from both the government, private sector and donors. At present, information about the existence of social institutions that are currently available is still limited, namely only in the form of an address without a map showing the location of a Social Institutions . This has caused the existence of social institutions not yet widely known by the wider community so that donors have difficulty knowing complete information about the location of the institution, the need for donations for each institution, and access to the location of the institution. For this reason, a geographic information system is needed for mapping social care institutions in the Tasikmalaya city that is able to provide complete information for donors to be able to channel their assistance quickly and precisely. The system is built using the SDLC method with an object oriented approach. System design techniques with UML and database design using ERD. The final result of this study is the construction of a geographic mapping social information system in the Android-based Tasikmalaya city that can help donors in choosing social institutions available in the Tasikmalaya city complete with information on distance, accessibility, and donation needs from each of the social institutions.Keywords: GIS, Social Institution, Android, Tasikmalaya City.]]>
