<![CDATA[Abstract: Traffic volume at streetjoint of Semarang - Boja increases from year to year. This matter is caused by local area growth. In order to solve this problem, traffic jam, the knowledge of concerning traffic characteristic and its relation are needed. The aims of this study is to analyze the relation models, which are involved existing traffic characteristic, i.e. volume (V), speed (S), and density (D). Survey covers the traffic volume and speed with manual count method, whilst analysis is based on Greenshield, Greenberg, and Underwood models. Result indicate that the appropriate relation V-S-D model for the street joint of Semarang - Boja correspond to the Underwood model with correlation value r= 0.537 and Us= 55.79 x exp (D/54.19).Abstrak: Volume perjalanan lalu lintas pada ruas jalan Semarang - Boja mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun. Hal ini disebabkan perkembangan daerah ini. Untuk mengatasi masalah kemacetan lalulintas pada ruas jalan ini terlebih dahulu diperlukan pengetahuan mengenai karakteristik lalulintas dan model hubungan antar karakteristik tersebut. Kajian ini bertujuan menganalisis model hubungan antar karakteristik volume (V), kecepatan (S) dan kepadatan (D) lalulintas, sesuai dengan kondisi  yang  ada. Survai data meliputi volume  dan kecepatan lalulintas dengan metode manual count, sedang  analisis model meliputi model Greenshield, Greenberg, dan Underwood. Hasil analisis  menunjukkan bahwa model hubungan V-S-D yang sesuai untuk ruas jalan Semarang - Boja adalah mengikuti model Underwood dengan nilai r = 0.537, dengan model Us= 55,79 x exp(D/54, 19). ]]>
