<![CDATA[Abstract This paper seeks the challenge of modernity faced by Muslims in the Middle East including India and its implications in many other parts of the world of Islam. Reformism appear in the body and the birth of Islam to the surface as a response to the expansion and reaction to European glory in various fields, including a new batch problematical experienced Muslims due to the influence of global modernization in the Western world, have been slow erase economic freedom, independence and culture throughout the area of dominance of Islam. A number of key movement reformist-modernist in the Islamic Middle East and India opened the way to compromise the entrance to Western modernization in the Islamic world. Eventually become a requirement for improvement of Islam in all areas of life, political, social, economic and legal. Perhaps renewal is a way to be a peaceful Islam in harmony with that knowledge and modern education. A heritage movement is slow left of the changes and continues growing until now.
