<![CDATA[Prematur rupture of membranes (PROM) is rupture of membranes before inpatru that iswhen the primi cervix open less than 3cm an d mulitipara less than 5 cm. PROM incidenstsin Arifin Achmad Hospital Riau Province 2012 showe the higest number of PROM was inMarch is 23 (32,39%). The aim of this study was determine the relationship or Parity withthe incidence of PROM in Arifin Achmad Hospital Riau Province. This Study used designis cross sectional with 128 mothers giving birth sample. Sampling with saturated samplingtechnique. Analysis with Univariate and Bivariate through Chi-Square Test. Univariateresult from that most of the samples with low parity is 81 people (63,3%) and 105 people(82%) did not experience PROM. Bivariate result based on parity factors obtained Pvalue=0,004<α = 0,05 (OR 4.277) that means there is a realtionship between parity andPROM.
