Abstract

This study aims to determine the administrative functions of student data at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) Model Palu. The method used in this study is qualitative approach with informants amounting to 5 people. Data collection technique in this study was done by means of observations, interviews, and documentations. The results show that the administrative functions of student data at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) Model Palu had been in accordance with the management theory propounded by G.R Terry, for implementing the four functions of management, namely planning, organizing, actuating, and monitoring functions. In the management functions implementation as described above, three of them had already been well in accordance with the provisions, namely planning, organizing, and actuating functions. While, the supervisory function had not run maximally, there were some students who did not met the requirements, such as copies of birth certificates, good conduct certificates from the schools of origin, copies of grade reports from the schools of origin, certificates of not having a National Student Identification Number (NISN).
