<![CDATA[Reading activity in education is very important, because it can provide a wide range of information and knowledge so that a person would have generous knowledge. In other word reading is the most inexpensive, effective, and efficient learning source. On the other hand, achieving competent reading ability is not easy to do. Based on that reason the writer tries to generalize the model of mind mapping learning in improving students' reading ability. The aim of this paper is to measure the students' reading achievement by implementing mind mapping learning model. The method of the research is descriptive and experimental method. The result of the research showed that the improvement of students' reading achievement on skimming skill by implementing mind mapping learning model is significant.]]>
