Abstract

This study aimed to find out the role of PT.Telkom on Kampung UKM Digital Program asthe form of Corporate Social Responsibility, the effect of Kampung UKM Digital Program, and the obstacles found in the Kampung UKM Digital Program as the form of Corporate Social Responsibility. This was a qualitative descriptive study. The result of this study found that: First, the role of PT.Telkom as the initiator, facilitator, and the coordinator could be seen from some activities run by PT.Telkom such as: (1) digital marketing training for micro, small, and medium scale business (UKM) of batik entrepreneurs; (2) Supporting Digital small and Medium Business Village Program with some facilities. Those facilities were Blanja.com marketplace, the optic-cable network that covers all area of Batik Village of Laweyan, and wifi-corner in the Laweyan Meeting Hall. The role of PT.Telkom is a form of Corporate Social Responsibility in Corporate Citizenship since the mission of this program is to overcome the economic problem, particularly in assisting UKM and contribute to the society in the attempt of digitalization. Second, the effect of Digital small and Medium Business Village Program on the Laweyan villager was the increase of their income. It could be seen from the increase of the amount of UKM batik showroom guests. Third, the obstacles found in this program covers: (a) Structural obstacle that covers limited unclearness of the programing responsibilities; (b) Administration obstacle covers lack of program coordinator? accompaniment and evaluation and ineffective implementation time; (c) Social obstacle covers lack of Batik UMKM entrepreneur? willingness to thrive. Keywords: Role, Digital Citizenship, Corporate Social Responsibility
