Abstract

Abstract: The Applycation of Problem Based Learning Model to Increasing Science Learning on the Fourth Grade Students of SD Negeri 1 Kuwarasan in Academic Year 2013/2014. The purposes of this research to increase of science learning about force with application of Problem Based Leaning model on the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Kuwarasan. The method of this research can be categorized as a collaborative classroom action research conducted in three cycles. The research subjects totalling 32 students. The data analysis was done qualitatively and quantitatively. The result of the research showed that the problem- based learning model can increasing science learning about force. The conclusion of the research is the problem-based learning model can increasing science learning about force on the fourth grade students of  SD Negeri 1 Kuwarasan. Keywords: Problem Based Learning model, science learning Abstrak: Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran IPA pada Siswa Kelas IV SD  Negeri 1 Kuwarasan Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA tentang gaya melalui model Problem Based Learning pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Kuwarasan.  Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA tentang gaya. Simpulan penelitian adalah model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA tentang gaya pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Kuwarasan. Kata Kunci: model Problem Based Learning, pembelajaran IPA
