Abstract

The purpose of thus research is to describe the psychological well-being of muslim students who are blind in IAIN Surakarta. The method used is a qualitative descriptive that uses a phenomenological approach, with two 22-25 years old research subjects that have been gradually in school age. Data collection through interviews and observations, and supported by literary studies. The result of this research, (1) There is already a non-struktural institusi that oversees the student with disabilities namely, “ Pusat Studi Layanan Disabilitas (PSLD/UKMD) IAIN Surakarta, but has not run to the fullest. (2) The dimension of psychological well-being that is lacking in the subjects is a, positive relationship with others on both subjects, and the puspose in life on the first subject. This research is made to be a reference for stakeholder in planning facilities, infrastructure, and nonphysical accessibility at IAIN Surakarta.Keywords: blind disability; psychological well-being; students
