This study aims to identify the Sungkai tribe local wisdom that can be used as a source learning. The design used was descriptive design. The sample selection used purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained from questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data of this study were analyzed and interpreted into percentage descriptive criteria. The results showed that 11 local wisdoms of Sungkai tribe could be used as learning sources. The local wisdom was bertangus and the use of crab carcasses (KD class VII), regional dances, medicinal plants (rambutan’s leave, jatropha’s secretion, duku’s leave, water of rice), musical instruments (KD class VIII), and seeds kuwalu, gula durian and jeghuk belimbing (KD class IX). In conclusion, 11 local knowledge can be identified which can be used as a source for science in junior high school.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kearifan lokal suku Sungkai yang dapat digunakan sumber belajar IPA SMP. Desain yang digunakan adalah desain deskriptif. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data-data penelitian ini dianalisis dan diinterpretasikan kedalam kriteria deskriptif per-sentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 11 kearifan lokal suku Sungkai dapat dijadikan sumber belajar. Kearifan lokal tersebut adalah bertangus, bangkai kepiting (KD kelas VII), tarian daerah, tanaman obat (daun rambutan, getah jarak pagar, daun duku, air beras), alat musik (KD kelas VIII), serta bibit padi kuwalu, gula durian dan jeghuk belimbing (KD kelas IX). Kesimpulannya, telah diidentifikasi 11 kearifan lokal yang dapat dijadikan sumber belajar IPA SMP.Kata kunci : kearifan lokal, kompetensi dasar, sumber belajar.
