Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan Kota Malang mengakibatkan pertambahan jumlah penduduk yang pesat. Hal ini menyebabkan berkurangnya tanah yang mampu meresapkan air, sehingga menimbulkan genangan atau banjir ketika hujan turun. Saluran drainase di Kota Malang mulai mengalami penurunan kualitas sehingga tidak mampu menampung air limpasan hujan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kondisi eksisting sistem saluran drainase di Jalan Gajayana dan Jalan Sumbersari, merancang dimensi saluran drainase berdasarkan hujan rancangan kala ulang 25 tahun, mengevaluasi dimensi saluran drainase eksisting apakah masih mampu menampung debit hujan rancangan untuk kala ulang 10 tahundan 25 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif evaluatif. Tahapan penelitian dimulai dari pengumpulan data berupa data sekunder dan data primer, analisis hidrologi, review desain dimensi dan evaluasi saluran drainase. Berdasarkan hasil dan analisis data yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa saluran di Jalan Gajayana masih mampu untuk menampung debit hujan untuk 25 tahun kedepan. Sedangkan saluran di Jalan Sumbersari debit kapasitas saluran eksistingnya lebih kecil dari debit kapasitas saluran rancangan sehingga perlu diganti dimensi salurannya agar dapat menampung debit hujan hingga 25 tahun kedepan. Kata Kunci     :  Drainase, Evaluasi, Jalan Gajayana, Jalan Sumbersari, ABSTRACT  Malang developments resulted in rapid population growth. This causes a reduction of land that capable for absorbing water, causing pond when it rains. Now drainage systems in Malang have decrease of quality and unable to accommodate the water runoff that causes flooding. The aim of this study was to determine the condition of the existing system of drainage channels at Gajayana Street and Sumbersari Street, designing dimensions of drainage channels based from rain design return period for 25 years, to evaluate the dimensions of drainage channels of the existing is still able to accommodate discharge of rain draft for return period 10 years and 25 years. Method that used is descriptive method evaluative. Research start from collecting primary data and secondary data, hydrology analysis, review and evaluation design dimensional drainage channels. Based on the results and the data analysis, it can be concluded that the channels in Gajayana Street still able to accommodate discharge of rain for the next 25 years. While the discharge channel at Sumbersari Street existing channel capacity is smaller than the discharge capacity of the channel, so the design of the channel dimensions need to be replaced in order to accommodate the discharge of rain up to 25 years.  Keywords: Drainage, Evaluation, Gajayana Street, Sumbersari Street
