This paper discusses significant differences between the reading of the Qalun narration and that of Hafs in the Qur ’an, chapter al-FÄÂtihah, al-Baqarah, and'Ali Imran, and are described in a comparative format between both of them according to tarÄ«q ash-Sha¯ibiyyah. The study found different readings: mÄ«mjama‘, idgÄÂm ¡agÄ«r and hÄÂ’ kinÄÂyah (in certain places), two hamzahs in one word, two hamzahs in two words, the word ïºâ€Ã¯Â¯Â¾Ã˜Â±Ã¯Â»Â®Ã¯ÂºËœÃ¯Â»Å¸Ã˜Â§, ya’ i«ÄÂfah (additional ya’), and yÄÂ’ zÄÂ`idah (additional ya’). The findings of the words which are included in the special rule (al-farsy ¥urÅ«f) are located in 113 places, with details of the places as follow: one place in Surah al-Fatihah, 64 places in Surah al-Baqarah, and 48 places in Surah Ali 'Imran.
