Abstract

AbstractThis study entitled The Effect of Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence of Students on Learning Motivation at MAN 2 Kota Parepare, located at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2, Parepare City, South Sulawesi. In comparison, the data collection method consists of observation, documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The conclusions of the results of this study: First, testing the significance through the t test with the acquisition of tcount 5,255> ttable 1,992, it means that emotional intelligence has a significant effect on learning motivation in MAN 2 Parepare City. Second, the significance test through the t test with the value of tcount 6.737> t table= 1.992, meaning that spiritual intelligence has a positive and significant effect on learning motivation at MAN 2 Parepare City. Third, the calculation results show that Fcount= 27.233> Ftable= 3.12 means that Ho is rejected, meaning that the emotional and spiritual intelligence of students together have a positive and significant effect on the increase in learning motivation at MAN 2 Parepare City with a contribution of 40.9%, it means that the contribution of the two bits of intelligence is quite enormous in value, while the remaining 59.1% is influenced by other variables that are not in this regression equation model. AbstrakPenelitian ini berjudul Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional Dan Spiritual Peserta Didik Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Pada MAN 2 Kota Parepare. Berlokasi pada Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Kota Parepare Sulawesi Selatan. sedangkan metode pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Adapun kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, yaitu Pertama, pengujian signifikansi melalui uji t dengan perolehan nilai thitung 5,255 > ttabel 1,992, berarti kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar pada MAN 2 Kota Parepare. Kedua, pengujian signifikansi melalui uji t dengan perolehan nilai thitung 6,737 > ttabel= 1,992, berarti kecerdasan spiritual berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar pada MAN 2 Kota Parepare. Ketiga, Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan Fhitung= 27,233 > Ftabel= 3,12 berarti Ho ditolak, artinya kecerdasan emosional dan spiritual peserta didik secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar pada MAN 2 Kota Parepare dengan kontribusi sebesar 40,9%, artinya sumbangan kedua kecerdasan cukup besar nilainya, sedangkan sisanya 59,1% dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak ada pada model persamaan regresi ini.
