Cut flowers have a special attraction, can be used as a vase of flowers / bouquets for all occasions celebration, decorate the office, a banking, restaurant, hotel, and religious events. The presence of cut flowers in the room in addition to beautify the room also makes the room feel more alive. Have the characteristics of fresh flowers quickly wilt, turn yellow and fall off and rot. Series of cut flowers arranged so harmonious and beautiful make the atmosphere become more comfortable. The purpose of this study was to determine the type of long-lasting cut flowers and keep them fresh and to know the proper preservative, so that long-lasting cut flowers and keep them fresh. This study used a completely randomized design, arranged in a factorial with 2 factors: the first factor is the type of cut flower treatment consists of 3 levels, J1: gladiolus flower, J2: tuberose flowers, J3: chrysanthemum flower. The second factor is kind of preservative consisting of 4 levels, P0: without preservatives. P1: bayclin preservatives, P2: sugar + vinegar preservatives, P3: lemon preservatives. The results showed that the cut flower chrysanthemum is the most durable of cut flowers; cut flowers compared gladiolus and tuberose.
