PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE MURDER UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI PANJANG GARIS SINGGUNG PERSEKUTUAN DUA LINGKARAN DI KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 6 PALU

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh deskripsi mengenai penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe MURDER untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi panjang garis singgung persekutuan dua lingkaran di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Palu. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Desain penelitian mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart, yang terdiri atas empat komponen yaitu 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) observasi dan 4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Penelitian ini berlokasi di SMP Negeri 6 Palu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa aktivitas guru dan siswa melalui lembar observasi, hasil wawancara dan hasil catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe MURDER dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dengan langkah-langkah, yaitu: 1) mood, 2) understand, 3) recall, 4) detect, 5) elaborate dan 6) review. Kata kunci: pembelajaran kooperatif, MURDER, hasil belajar, panjang garis singgung persekutuan dua lingkaran. Abstract: The aim of this reseacrh is to describe the application of cooperative learning of MURDER type to improve students learning outcomes in length of tangent line segment of two circles in grade VIII SMP Negeri 6 Palu. This research was a classroom action research which design refered to Kemmis and Mc. Taggart Model. Which consists of four components, namely: 1) planning, 2) action, 3) observation and 4) reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles. This research was located at SMP Negeri 6 Palu. The research subyek were students of grade VIII which the number of Twenty nine students were. Data was collected by teacher and student activity sheets through observation, interviews and field notes. The result showed that the application of cooperative learning of MURDER type can improve student learning outcomes, by following steps, that was: 1) mood, 2) understand, 3) recal, 4) detect, 5) elaborate and 6) review.
