The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of price earning ratio, debt to equity ratio, inflation, BI rate, and dollar exchange rate on stock prices. The population used in this study were chemical sector companies that had gone public in the Indonesian capital market until the end of 2018. The population in this study were 7 companies. Sampling was done by using the census method. Sample selection criteria, namely: a). Chemical sector companies listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange before December 31, 2018. b). Remain listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange until 31 December 2018. c). Providing periodic financial reports to the Jakarta Stock Exchange on December 31. Methods of data analysis using descriptive analysis and simple and multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that: (1) Simultaneously, price earning ratio, debt to equity ratio, inflation, BI rate, and dollar exchange rate on stock prices have a significant effect on stock prices (2) Partially price earning ratio, debt to equity ratio, inflation , BI rate, rupiah / dollar exchange rate do not have a significant effect on share prices. The conclusion is that in general investors who invest in chemical sector stocks are more short-term investors who only pay attention to stock price fluctuations in the market.
